no - i would offer a spot to the Quarians (they were almost there anyway IMHO (shaming them for the Geth was not the best idea the council had had in the past), and their ship-building expertise and large fleet can be a real asset to rebuilding the galaxy (transport-capacity, armed-patrols, guards for supply convoys and depots etc.)) - jointly with the Geth (if you did the peace-making)

greetings LAX
ps: the Krogan are not ready IMHO (they can have an embassy and SPECTRES (carefully chosen by Wrex and Grunt - in order not to get dumb-asses-with-guns that can't think and approach a situation without violence) like the humans had at the start of ME1

True, some of the colonies might still be left. In that case humanity would be even smaller in population than the Quarians.

Which is totally irrelevant.

But it is his will.

I don't know or care who 'he' is, humans ruling or leading the galaxy is still a frightening prospect.

Sure, they'd still have a seat, but it wouldn't work with the whole "human domination" concept.

Wut? There are tons of humans left even with Earth gone. The Reapers haven't even began to really depopulate Earth, a process that would have taken a decade; it has been a few months, which stood at over 11 billion. You're grossly underestimating your own species. Xenolovers, the lot of yous. Even with a fried Earth, which doesn't happen, humanity is fine.

I'm just talking about the Low EMS Destroy/Control ending. The Crucible kills all life on Earth and the vast majority of humanity happens to live there. I'm not advocating it, I'm just coming back at the 'human dominance' concept.

Why not? May I remind you that in the lowest possible EMS ending, Humans only humans characters are shown

But the other species would be way more powerful and wouldn't let themselves be controlled by humans.

Humans deserve to be dominate. Turians became the powerhouse by saving the galaxy once. We've saved it three goddamn times. I want some recongnition.

And you  are able to deduce that of what...? All we know that the Crucible's beam is more destructive then anticipated.

No. Almost all the armies are near the Cruicible when it goes off. It's not like they get off scot free.

To be fair, during the Reaper war, the Humans and Turians contributed the most IMO. Palaven and Earth were where most of the fighting was.

And now that were speaking about it, I'm really disapointed that Bioware missed the opertunity of more varied endings, Like the missing Renegade Human-dominance destroy ending, were Alliance ships are seen Annexing the space above Palaven and were Asari prisoners can be seen in an Alliance internement camp.

The Volus. Maybe then there would be someone with an understanding of economics on the council.

If the Quarians have the strength of the Geth behind them, they would be too powerful to ignore.  They would recieve an automatic spot on the Council and all the "f*** you" priviliges that come with it.  Without the Geth, they may still be eligible, though their low population (approx. 17 million) may put them at odds.

The Hanar may also be possible contenders judging by NPC comments, though we the players don't know much about their military capabilities.

I think that wave did as much damage to the rest of the galaxy, it wasn't the pwoer of the wave that destroyed earth, it was the damge to the crusible making the shockwave poorly tuned and indiscriminate.

Meaning it will do the same at every relay burning every world in it's path. Now EMS Destroy is like Refuse, only you get to kill of 99% of the galaxy instead of letting the Reapers do the job.

Every homeworld, every colony.... Which is why there are no slides showing people rebuild when you do low EMS Destroy. No people living hapily ever after.

a long, long, long time later new life will emerge that might become spacefaring, who might find some bardly charred remains of past civilizations, but due to the massive damage and long time sicne these civilizations were destroyed very little will remain. It likely wont be 50 000 years but more likely millions of years for lower organisms to grow a spine or whatever...

No, that would be something for the far future where the species who thinks itself specialy choosen by god goes out there and enslaves everyone else because they arn't even truly alive, more like beasts. The Protean way, where you could even eat others because they were primitives and beasts or entertainment.

Yeah Quarians would be a good choice but only if there was a certainty that only admiral Koris would be given the nod. I think the rest of the admirals don't even a semblance of idea how to handle intergalactic politics.

And it'd be the same with Krogans, I don't think Eve would be a bad choice as councilor, with Wrex as ambassador. But yeah the only thing they can offer is numbers and brute force as opposed to the tech expertise of Quarians.

The main problem I got with the Quarians is that they lack a large enough population to have a large enough GDP to support the requierments of a council species. Unless ofcourse they share it with the Geth.
It was said that the Quarian fleet is falling appart and that in a few decades or a century it would be beyond repair unless they can manage to replace their ships.
Which was also one of the reasons they were getting so irrational and desperate. Desperation doesn't justify ones actions but it explains it, somewhat.

Under destroy -
Javik
Volus
Elcor
Krogan
Edit: Quarians & Hanar too. Each race should be represented. Even Leviathan.

Under control - Harbinger
Under synthesis - abolish the council
