IMO, all spacefaring species *should* have a seat. It's never been 100% clear to me how the existing councilors are chosen, but even if some or all are chosen by an internally democratic process, the Council still feels more like a relatively benign oligarchy than a truly representative body, given that only four species have a say.

In terms of who has the clout to get a seat next, I imagine that the turians will vouch directly for the assistance provided by the krogan and the quarians, and if you negotiated peace, the quarians and geth are probably now a package deal.

I can't imagine the Vorcha having a councilor. The Citadel DLC already hit home with how big of a joke that would be.

Why must we kill each other's waifus? Isn't there a place where they can all live together in harmony?

Tali did say that she liked those cliffs. I wonder if she wrote a poem on her way down to the bottom that one.

It would be funny seeing the Geth and Quarians sharing a council seat....

Asari Councilor: Excuse us a moment, it seems we havn't recived the votes from the Rannoch council seat as of yet.

Coucilors?

Quarian councilor:  YEEES!
Geth: NO!, we do not support the illegal deactivation of synthetic beings on the moon of Fendor!
*the councilors from Rannoch start pushing and shoving till they both fall of the podium and crash lands in the miniature garden meditation room below the councilchambers where Saren/Sovereign meet his/it's end.*

Asari councilor: This council meeting has been adjourned ... AGAIN... until the councilors from Rannoch have been released from Huerta medical and are fit to return to duty.

*The human councilor mutters something along the lines of "We should have picked the Volus instead of the Geth and the Quarians, It's the Reaper war situation all over again."*

Turian councilor: *nods* "Least they arn't using guns and illegal dreadnaught weapons and other questionable tactics this time".

Salarian: "Shhh!" *discretely pointing at a journalist (Al'Jilani with a camera disguised as a floating giant pineapple)"

Asari councilor *Puts on her best pokerface as she walk out of the council chambers* (nothing to see here)

The vorcha don't have spacefaring capabilities of their own, and likely couldn't get their act together long enough to choose a councilor if their society continues in its present form, though maybe that would change under a Paragon Control or Synthesis scenario.

I'm not really saying that any species that has ever left its own planet should automatically get a seat, just that it shouldn't be limited to the current "big four" and shouldn't be based on political or military "clout" alone. I'm thinking more along the lines of a treaty for peaceful resolution of potential conflicts and mutual assistance between members, with membership open to any species that agrees to those terms. (The vorcha, if they don't change much after the war, probably would just refuse to sign.)

Apparently the Turians and humans taught them to build their first fighter ships which can travel space and relays.. And they taughth them piloting and tactics somewhere around the event's of ME2...

Which is why you can pickupa Vorcha fightersquad as a war asset.

I woudln't say they would be ready to be a council speceis compared to others... but giving them an embassy and the mission to bring peace and prder to their corner/border of the Terminous might actualy help a little.

It will be up to the Vorcha but the Turians and humans did it in the hopes of stabilizing them and stopping the Blood pack from conscripting Vorchas.

Krogan. Quarians should, at least, get their embassy back as should the Batarians. Hanar is a no. As are the Volus, Drell, and Elcor simply for their lack of support. Geth should be given an embassy (assuming they are alive).
