I play on PC (always on Insanity difficulty))and the bugged marksman power has never bothered me too much. The inferno grenades are greatly underappreciated, and they can take down brutes, ravagers and banshees (once their barriers are down) really quickly. If you give her a powerful and accurate sniper rifle and put her in a good sniping spot, you don't even have to give her orders in combat. With the right armor choice and skill configuration, she is extremely durable in prolonged boss fights

And Tali falls flat in anything biotic. What was th point in this?

Indeed. Just mentioned it as it was brought up that Ash is stronger in combat. Like I say, they've all got different strengths and weaknesses.

You fight Tech enemies in 3 missions. therefor she is only useful for those three missions.

Those would be her strongest missions yes. Her drones can annoy standard enemies as well, much like EDI's decoy ability. But yes, she is the weakest in terms of combat, not saying she isn't.

Combat abilites and usefulness completely depend on your choice of class, weapons, difficulty and overall playstyle. Like I said in another thread, I always found Tali to be one of the most useful squadmates in the series. Her drones can distract enemies, shield drain keeps her alive and she can deal good damage. This is because I usually play a fragile, high damage Infiltrator. If you play differently, you might find other squadmates useful. This argument is pretty pointless. To each his own.
