She looks great. I actually like the new Orlesian clothes she has.

Moreover Claudia Black managed to make her sound older... in the trailer's very first moments you think of Flemeth, then realize it's Morrigan... so, she did just a great job.

I dont know if its just me, but I dont like the new Morrigan, i prefer the old one, so please let me know what you think
long answer short:
no, i don't like her!
why?
i quite simply don't like the looks (she didn't age well - where she once was one of the most beautifull characters in DA, she now looks kind bad (kind of ugly - not pug-ugly but not beautifull or pretty anymore))
as for the dress - i don't like that she wears one at all (for me Morrigan was the typical tomboy with an attitude - and that's what i liked about her), it does not fit her personality well IMHO (yes: people can change - but that drastically?...i question that!)

How can you say she has changed too much, by seeing a 5 seconds appearence?
This is madness...

I don't mind that she wears a dress (considering that she might be in Val-Rouyeaux at Celene's court), but I hope that she has different clothes if she goes to battle. Jessica Merizan shown at PAX what her full dress looks, and it doesn't seem suitable to fight.

It's been 10 years, she had a child, she's been on the run. I wouldn't expect her to look exactly the same, it's nice to see a bit of ageing. And it's not like she's suddenly become an old crone!
The Orlesian clothing makes sense, if she's been hiding out in Orlais it would have drawn far too much attention to keep wearing her Chasind/Fereldan outfit. Also, she's apparently been in the Empress's court (I think?) - given how much Orlesian politics base on looks changing her outfit was a smart move.

indeed - i was talking about that picture the gameinformer had in the "Morrigan - Past and Present" article!
looks bad IMHO (as for the dress itself: i hate dresses, evening-gowns etc. - sorry, but i like women in buiseness suits (without them wearing a skirt, i love women in trousers), with a tie etc...i am glad that Thedas does not seem to have either handbags (I hate those with a passion...am i glad i am not a girl!) or high-heels!)

Well you and I are going to disagree on that point. I think she looks better than she ever did in Origins.

well - beauty is in the eye of the beholder they say
but well, she changed from "wow, that girl is just my type" (although i don't know if i really have a "type" - i like all kinds of looks IMHO) to "well, not ****in' ugly, but not looking good anymore either" - at least for me (but that's just an oppinion of course!)

Anyway, I think it's too early to say anything, since Bioware might not have finalized her face.

So...I like Morrigan, regardless of how she may look. And that said, I see nothing wrong with her appearance in the trailer. Fancy dress, change to the hairstyle - doesn't matter. She's Morrigan through and through. Ever with a hint of cryptic threat to her words. I'm excited about seeing her in the new game.

People forgetting that she is now in her 40s?
Is she? I don't think we've ever been given a set age for Morrigan in Origins. I know there were some ages given for some early drafts of the characters but as far as I understand they're non-canon.
