She looked terrible in Origins so now it's much better I think.

Her wide lips and nose... reminds me of old hags and ugly witches.. she also looks like an amphibian that has long sticking tongue to catch insects.

Yeah, she looks great. Origins Morrigan was a little wonky looking, but so were most characters. I'm excited to see what her part in all this will be and what she's been up to in the last decade.

Really so far I love everyone's look so far but Cassandra's, it's way too exaggerated looking and just immensely different from how she's looked in all previous DA products. Everyone we've seen feels real but she just stands out as cartoony to me. I'm fine with not having her being so pretty like in DA2 and DotS, but they went a bit too far.

She looks great, love the dress. Not so sure about her hair covering half her face. Liked her hair better Origins.

I'm one of the few who didn't like her face in Origins. Those squinty little eyes and her mouth just looked wierd. Had to use a mod to fix her.

It's actually nice to see that a woman has been allowed to visibly age, rather than just killed off off-screen and replaced by her daughter or a similar woman, or just forever frozen in her young body.

Do people think I meant she was literally a teenager? Gosh.
As Mary points out, I meant her personality. As in specifically the relationship between her and her mother.
I wouldn't think I'd need to clarify that, but evidently I do.

Gaider already said that she wasn't a teenager in a thread awhile ago but didn't give an age range, so my guess would be somewhere in between 32-42+ in DAI putting her in between 21-31 at the end of DAO.






As for how she looks now it's good(perfer the DAO)though I do expect her to change since they are still redesigning things also her dress is because she joined the Orlesian Court but she might have another outfit aswell.

I think she's beautiful and I hope my Inquisitor gets to be as good a friend with her as my Warden was.  As an older female gamer I think it's great that BioWare allowed her to age and still be beautiful.  Though I do hope they push her hair over out of her face.

I like it overall, though her mouth in the trailer gives me the uncanny valley creeps. It's strangely wide and while in DA:O her bottom lip was much more full than her top lip, in the DA:I trailer it's the other way around and her top lip looks like it was injected with collagen. I like the game informer still though, her mouth looks normal.

On a side note, people actually thought Morrigan was a teenager in DA:O? O_o

I got the impression she was in her early twenties. Apparently she was in her thirties though. I thought Leliana was the one in her thirties, given her many years as a bard and as a lay sister.

No, I do not. The newer picture (linked by spectre slayer there) looks a bit better than they had her in "The Fires Above," but I doubt they'll fully get rid of the problems I had with it (like her jowels).

It really doesn't bother me, though, just like the DA ][ changes didn't really bother me (outside of elves, but that was because they turned butt-ugly).

The picture linked by Spectre seems more like a handpainting screenshot? Doesn't look like real in-game screenshots. The first Dragon Age Inquisition trailer.. where you see Morrigan's Joker smile was in-game actual footage as it was shown in the description of the trailer.

Is she? I don't think we've ever been given a set age for Morrigan in Origins. I know there were some ages given for some early drafts of the characters but as far as I understand they're non-canon.

I'd say in Origins she was around 20-23, not as young as 16. DA:2 takes place over 7 years not 10. DA:I is set 10 years after Origins (3 years after DA:2) making Morrigan 30-33.

her new look is much more similar to the sacred ashes cgi in the Origins trailer so yeah, she's more canon now then her face was in Origins gameplay

I think she looks great in Inquisition. IMO that look is perfect for a Morrigan that has aged a decade.
