Given that we know exactly nothing about DA:I Morrigan I'm going to withhold judgement on this one until Q3-4 2014.

The picture linked by Spectre seems more like a handpainting screenshot? Doesn't look like real in-game screenshots. The first Dragon Age Inquisition trailer.. where you see Morrigan's Joker smile was in-game actual footage as it was shown in the description of the trailer.

What's a "handpainting screenshot"?

It looks like a normal screenshot to me, and at least as representative of the final product as the trailer, if not more so. We've seen the room she's in in one of the Gameinformer videos, and it was a normally modelled level.

Let's not forget that the trailer may or may not represent what Morrigan looks like in game. Did you see how different Leliana looked from the Sacred Ashes trailer? I'm OK with Morrigan being a few years older and dressing to conform to local fashion. She really doesn't want to stick out as a sore thumb.

I'm just hoping that female protags get to wear practical but nice-looking armor and what-not. I wouldn't go to a party in a pair of overalls nor would I work in my garden in a ballgown. I believe a military uniform is always appropriate for the occasion so maybe that will do.

Appearance-wise? Certainly do! Though I wish the hair didn't cover half of her face.

I don't know why anyone would say that she's "aged badly". I'd take daily baths in virgin blood to look like that when I'm in my mid-thirties.

I think her DA:I appearance is mostly fine. They just need to tweak her jaw and mouth a bit to match the original. The hair can stay however as well as the new outfit. It has been over 10 years. She shouldn't have the same hairstyle or the same clothing. Likewise DA:I Morrigan should look older than her DA:O appearance.

Yep. I like her new look a lot. Her clothing suited her in DAO because it was in tune with her surroundings. Wild and rugged. She is in a different place in her life now, both literally and figuratively and this new look suits her. I always imagined this is how Morrigan would have wanted to look all along. She liked the shiny before, but shied away from it due to disapproval from Flemeth. I think it sets the stage of Morrigan doing things her way now.

And for the poster who said Morrigan was a tomboy in Origins, I never got that notion from her. At all.
