I think her DA:I appearance is mostly fine. They just need to tweak her jaw and mouth a bit to match the original. The hair can stay however as well as the new outfit. It has been over 10 years. She shouldn't have the same hairstyle or the same clothing. Likewise DA:I Morrigan should look older than her DA:O appearance.

A new hairstyle is all fine and good.  But I'd like to be able to see both her eyes.

Remember the age of consent varies greatly from country to country. It is 16 in the UK, so it's not THAT bad.

Toolset.

The Toolset also put Alistair in his thirties, which would be blatantly impossible given the timeline. The toolset ages were dated from earlier concepts of the characters than the ones that made it into the final game, they aren't necessarily canon.

Morrigan looks great in that Game Informer image... the E3 trailer, not so much. It's her mouth, when it starts moving I tend to focus on that, and not in a good way.

I feel like theres something wrong with the new Morrigan's face. But I suspect its just that I'm not use to the new art style because I don't quite like Cassandra's or Varric's face either. That said, it could just be the trailer since I didn't mind their appearance in the pax demo.

I'm glad she's in an outfit now with proper bust support (YES It is a pet peeve . But aside from that, she looks exactly the same, so not sure what the point of the question is... Yeah, the animation of her speaking was not great in the trailer, but I'm sure they will fix that and it'll eventually look awesome.

Yes, it is that bad. If your partner is so young that you have to tell someone they're legal in the UK, they're too young. Same for 'it's legal in Kentucky.'

Morrigan was NOT a teengager in Origins. Besides the fact that DA:O Morrigan neither looked or sounded like a teenager (her VA was in her thirties) Gaider apparently has already weighed in on this and has said the character wasn't a teen. The toolset also apparently lists Morrigan as 32.

I have no idea where the teenager rumor started. Maybe its teenaged players wanting characters to be more like themselves.

Your arguing a character model in a four year old game against an FMV sequence.

Remember the DA:O launch FMV (Sacred Ashes I believe)? None of the characters looked like their in game models...

In other words, this doesn't seem to be an argument worth having.

Do people think I meant she was literally a teenager? Gosh.
As Mary points out, I meant her personality. As in specifically the relationship between her and her mother.
I wouldn't think I'd need to clarify that, but evidently I do.

Don't know some people keep saying she's a teenager all he sad was in regards to her relationship with Flemeth she acts like a teenager.

As for her age that depends on what Alan was saying Yes to since the one who posted before him said didn't Gaider say mid 20's to early 30's which would put her in between 37-48 and if she was younger than that 32-43, if not then he was saying hemight've been saying he likes either who knows.

The toolsets don't equal the character's actual age ranges but the voice actors or actresses that play them.

Ahhhh... that's info for the VO people. It's an apparent age and gives a range for the actor, not his actual age.
Whew! Scared me for a moment there.

I was only saying hilarystamp's guess shouldn't be so vilified if, like me, they come from an area where it is low. Different cultures have different views on things after all.

As for the idea she was a teenager in Origins, she does have a sort of typically teenage antagonistic relationship with her mother, always snapping and making smide comments. She is much more mature than that which is why I placed her in her early twenties in my head. I thought she is like a dark counterpart to Alistair, so I assumed they were similar ages. But I can see it now, I suppose, her being thirty-ish. The thirty year olds I know look a lot older than she did, but they have had more stressful life experiences that Morrigan wouldn't have had, like having children. (Though I still think thirty might be pushing it for Origins Morrigan)

I'm not happy with her new look. To cartoony for my taste, the most unrealistic character I've seen so far. Apart from that, she is plain ugly and not the temptress I remember :-( please Bioware do something about this.
