However, I think I'm going to love Morrigan in DAI. I look forward to seeing where Bioware takes her character.

For me no I don't like her new look. Mostly because to me she looks like she fell out of Dishonoured which is rather anachronistic to me.

I don't like the change in her facial structure. Being older doesn't change your facial features THAT much.
Bioware seem to always have issues with carrying over characters faces from one game to another. Look what they did to Alistair and Zevran in DA2...
Although Varric and Cassandra's face looks good in DAI.

I'm not happy with her new look. To cartoony for my taste, the most unrealistic character I've seen so far. Apart from that, she is plain ugly and not the temptress I remember :-( please Bioware do something about this.

I think the fact that no one moaned about the mouth movements in the PAX demo shows people are fine with the current mouths. They'll have fixed them.

Looks fine to me. We'll have to see how she's written.

I think it's more that smiles are particularly prone to looking weird/goofy/scary. Even with otherwise solid face animations.
(Insert horrific Default Shep smile here.)

and Thedas has always struck me as at least late medieval if not early renaissance. And Orlais would be more renaissance than Fereldan.
I must have watched the wrong footage at Pax then, because DAI looked nothing like FF.Mr Massakka wrote...
I don't like her newly gained Final Fantasy vibe, no. Then again, all of DAI looks like a Final Fantasy game, so I guess she fits in there perfectly.
I need to see it in-game in lighitng like with Cass. Like Cass I didn't like her face when first showen until GI screenshots and Pax footage.Cutlass Jack wrote...
I love the dress. I'm undecided on the face. Not liking what I see thus far, but it could just be a terrible angle and looks fine in the actual game.

My point exactly. I'm still undecided on Cass, but the Pax footage did make me feel much, much better about Varric.

Looks ok to me. Someone please brush that strand of hair out of her eye. Can't survive a fight like that.
She's not going to look like Morrigan from DAO unless we go back in time. They do need to do some tweaking or at least show her in proper lighting in-game, but her looking just like in DAO? Not going to happen at all.Angrywolves wrote...
I hope they change her so she looks like the old Morrigan.
Some Bioware people apparently don't like the criticism about her looks.
shrugs.
Too bad.
