Because she's a robot. Naked robots (if you can even call them 'naked', seeing as they have no real anatomy or need for clothing) are not an issue worth dealing with. You want to complain about nudity in Mass Effect games, complain about Jack.

Fool. Why do you think mannequins on display are always in proper attire? It's not a robot unless we're making a point.

From what I've seen of Liara, she doesn't need to wear clothes either. We should let Liara go around naked too.

You find Shepard's relationship with sentient beings less palatable than Joker banging a glorified blowup doll?

Yup. Cross-contamination and such. At least blowup dolls are sanitary.

I'm sure one could do worse in terms of cross-contamination right here on earth.

The illusive man had that robot built, at least in part, as a tribute to his dead lover Eva Core. All that does is make me think that Joker is in love with a talking, secondhand sex toy. This disturbs me.

Also, I think Shep sums it up best. Its something like 'She's made of metal, and you have brittle bone disease.' Not too far off Joker being caught dry humping the hull of the Normandy either.

I don't really care if it's a "legit" relationship or not, if it makes joker happy to be with her who am I to judge?

A rational human being. It's okay to question things. Even if you change your opinion later.

So your comparing a private romance scene in Shepards cabin to walking around on the citadel? For the record Liara wear proper clothing pretty much everywhere except there.

Aliens are native to a whole different set of bacteria (from their planet).

Screwing a dog is cleaner for a human than screwing an asari.

My point was is that she didn't really need to. Not that it wasn't the proper thing to do. The proper thing for EDI to do would be put a shirt on. Only Joker should see all those circuits.

I don't think Quarians have a lot of germs. The near absence of bacteria in their surrounding on the Flotilla is the reason for their weak immune system. If a Quarian carried the amount of germs that would be dangerous for a human, he/she'd be longsince dead. Dunno about Asari or Turians.

The writing would have been stronger if it had focused more on what Legion was originally supposed to be, for EDI and the Geth alike - an AI with an entirely different world-view from organics which had no desire to become more organic; an entity with a unique world-view strong enough to stand on its own. The anti-Data. EDI at the end of ME2 was walking this path. Legion talked this path (and never should have had Shepard's armor, even according to his writer - we can thank "higher paid" for that one). Then Chris left, and ME3 turned the concept on its head: they all really just want to be a real boy (or girl, in EDI's case).

I had a greater appreciation for both EDI and the Geth (conceptually) before they became walking cliches.

People do tend to take their clothes off when having sex.

It appears that all ME romances work on sex entirely, this is something I don't really like. Jokers reasons for why he shouldn't get with EDI are more for why he couldn't do it with her than just having a relationship.

Garrus and Tali's romances in ME2 seem less-worse than others on this count because it's building off of a longer relationship, but yeah, I agree entirely.

Have you read Adamo before? That fanfic handles the Tali romance in the best way I think it should've gone, although it starts off in ME1 which I'm not fond of, since it takes a part out of the whole "friends becoming more" aspect of it which i like.

Razor's Edge by Tairis Deanham.

They totally should have had Garrus and Kasumi hook up in ME3...

The ME2 Garrusmance starts off as a "friends with benefits" deal though. Which is pretty weird thing to pursue with an alien with an exoskeleton.

For We Are Many by venomRED. Its still in the works but the Garrus./Kasumi plot is really good so far. It also has my favorite interpretation of Freedoms Progress.
