Assuming that the difficulty levels are adjusted for equality, I'm wondering if the differences in user-interface and input devices make the PC and console versions of DAO better suited for different styles of play.  And if so, which version has the better input/output for its play-style?
How did you play DAO, and how did it work out for you?
Thank-you.

for me, the PC graphics were, well, prettier
But mouse/keyboard are not as natural as a controller

The PC can zoom out to top-down and control multiple party members at once. Combined with the puase you can effectively micromanage everyone in your party.

Console doesn't have this option, so you're relying on AI (and how well you set their tactics) a lot. However console is also quite a bit easier - in particular, all mana/stamina/health regen is doubled on console compared to PC, which is there to make up for that. PC can also use a wider array of skills more easily.

PC is FAR superior for this game. On the console version you can only map 8 actions to your buttons, and even then you have to keep switching back and forth between two sets of four. Then you've got the big wheel that you have to stop the action for; while on the PC you've got one long bar with your actions ALL mapped out and ready for the tapping. Certain games are way better with a control pad - I don't want to play Street Fighter with a keyboard. But games like this? No question; there's just no substitute for a keyboard and mouse.

....still envy the mana regeneration on the console for my AW tho,
why was there never a mod that doubled that on PC too ?
