Inquisitor, maybe some form of nickname or pet name in private with good friends.

I'd say Inquisitor is the most likely for common usage, but LI's will probably call you Darling, or Dear or some other pet name that doesn't really infer a set gender.

Even when you are on good terms with a non-LI companion, I think they will still call you Inquisitor, just with a less formal tone.

I am sure that Varric will have a few creative nicknames. They might go the last name route and just sub in whatever it is depending on your race? I will laugh if it's anything like "The Survivor" or "The One Who Lived" when talking about you to someone else. In terms of speaking directly to you, they'll probably just do as they always have done. Go straight into the conversation or say 'you.'

It's really easy to avoid using someone's name during conversations, you know. And if your LI refers to you as the inquisitor while in public you could say they want to appear professional.

Maybe they will refer to your second name sometimes but yeah there have been games with nameless characters for ages. People don't use eachothers name that often in conversations.

I have a name in real life and I can probably count on one hand how many times someone has actually used my name in the past year.

A nickname, or some other non-descript identifier is more than acceptable.

More variety would be nice, but 'Inquisitor' is fine for most situations. "your eminence" has already been mentioned and I'll enjoy being addressed that way! Talking to party members in camp should be less formal.

Yeah but last names are so impersonal, if people really want name customization then make the last name customizable instead, this way your friends can use your first name and for more formal situations you have your title

I'd also suggest "Q."  Like "Big Q" or "Qucy" or "Q-loceraptor."  Q-ceratops.  Q-tee.  Q-poche.  Anything goofy.  We need silly names.
