Alright, I know this has been asked before, but I'm just making sure: If you get the Enduring Vigil achievement and save Amaranthine, then Vigils keep survives since it could hold out. However, I heard that there was a bug that even if you manage to save both that DAII still ticks off Vigils Keep as being destroyed and that your entire party left behind dies.
Now I already know that Anders and Justice survive no matter what, but I left Ohgren behind and i want to see him again :/ So yeah, is it bugged? Will it be fixed by the time of DAIII? Because if not then I'll have to make the choice between Ohgren and a city, and that's a really hard choice to make.

DA3 is going to have an entirely different import system. It's cloud based, operates via internet and allows you construct a save from scratch. I imagine there will be an option to say that you saved both there.
Search for Dragon Age Keep if you're interested about learning more.

...Wait, so there's absolutely no point to keeping our DAII saves? As in, we're not gonna get the option to import ala Mass Effect and we have to check tick boxes, save or no save?

Yea, it's still bugged. I did that on my last playthrough of Awakening and the Nathaniel quest never appeared in Act III. From what I've read, you can load your import into the Keep and it will fill in checkboxs to match that world state. You can also tweak and modify some of your choices. They said they're looking into a direct import system too, but it seems the Keep will be the main focus.

If you save your game before going to Amaranthine and choose to save it, then reload back to the save prior to and save the Keep, you will get all quests relating to the 2 in DAII. Such as, the suspicious lady in the Hanged Man, the Amaranthine Conspirators and Finding Nathaniel. This is what I usually do on my games so I get all the quests, especially the 1st 2 since more gold in good in Act 1 and I totally love Nathaniel's character and love his updated look in DA II even more, lol.
I keep hoping somehow they will fix the import issue, especially if you are playing DA: I on the same format you played the other games on too.

That's what it looks like at this point. Due to them also hopping to next gen, they wanted a more streamline solution. Plus, this presents a way to avoid the bugs that the older Import system generated.Above Good and Evil wrote...

So there's also no point to side-quests/DLC quests now? I mean, even doing Warden's Keep allowed a minor cameo of Avernus' research. Will the Keep include side-quests?

They said it's big and going to include everything that's relevant to DAI sooo yes I think so.

Alright, I guess that means I can replay Origins without having to worry about repeating Dragon Age II: Completely irrelevant in the long run.
