The Krogan are among the best kits in the game.

Anyways, I feel as though the Krogan are incredibly useful and user friendly, being straightforward to play. They either get above average melee with high durability or vice versa. They are amusing, wonderful, and fun to play especially with the claymore, a great weapon worthy of these kits.
The Krogan soldier can be played many ways, all of them valid.
The Krogan sentinel remains a powerful and lethal kit, and remaining very durable.
The Krogan battlemaster is a unstoppable force.
The Krogan Warlord is a slow, but melee tsunami of insta-killing foes with a wee bit of help from a claymore.
The Krogan shaman makes adepts fun to play and oh not so squishy.
I must say that all of these are great kits, and perfect to play all day every day.
There's something to these kits that brings a twinkle to my eye. They're just so fun, and user friendly.

He is so slow....
You have to choose between melee or health...
blablabla
All I see are enemies surrounded by fire, explosions all over the place and dead bodies everywhere.

So if you gimp the BE and use a heavier weapon and rely more on melee, then what advantage does the Krodept have over Krosol or Batsen or Justicar or ......?

And he's Krogan. He is more durable than Human Adept. If human Adept can do that, than Krogan can too.

character in game. Literally.
Now when facing enemies, I like the collectors. They
all have fat heads, and are relatively easy to headshot
due to those fat heads.
I wonder if the enemy AI capitalizes and similarly,
gets easier headshots against fat krogan headedness?
If not, the me4 AI obviously needs a buff.

-I never could really get into the sentinel… but he’s strong n tanky.
-Battlemaster is an unstoppable force unless stupid charge into that banshee you weren’t trying to charge at but do anyway --- happens.
-Warlord spectator. Unless it’s geth, the warlords I’ve seen spend the majority of their time in spectator mode.
-I never could get into the shaman, but I see his potential.
Krogan are good, however it pains me to say no dodge is ick…. No stagger protection is ick. And for a species that have redundant organs sync kills make no damn sense. Phantom sword through xxx, Krogan should have another and shrug it off requiring a second sync to actually down them.

I agree completely. Plus, If I'm correct, the Krodept BE works against armored targets. OTOH, I frequently get sync killed because the warp cooldown took a millisecond too long before I could fire the short-range shockwave. Of course, that is my bad, but it means the powerful BE is mainly a mook killer for us average players. I'm still learning how to keep him alive and still kill elites and bosses with a lighter weapon.
Your comparison with the HA is valid. I would compare with the Justicar, whose BE is long range, fast, and nearly as potent, but of course (if I'm correct) does not work against armor. And with the Justicar speed and dodge, she is also quite durable.
Not saying the Krodept is bad, just saying that trying to make him part caster, part weapons, part melee at the same time gimps him for all three. Kinda fun, but you eat a lot of dirt. Not an easy Krogan to play.

The big trick is as always RHA(right hand advantage)
Also shock wave ignores such frivolities as walls, so you only have to be exposed as long as it takes to hit the boss with warp
Hybrids are all, as you said, not great at anything, but they are so well rounded that it doesn't mean gimped per say.
Also 1.65*1.50 = 2.475 >>>>>>>>>>> 1.75
in regards to justicars BEs
Only pull-shockwave is better than the shamans detonations, and no kit in the game has those two powers, and they are near useless against the most dangerous enemies

90% of the Krogan's I see in gold/platinum just end up sync killed most rounds.

Not saying KSA is bad but imo HA wins by a mile.
KSA doesn't have any cc power. Warp - shockwave can only create 1 BE and warp is eaiser to dodge than singularity.
HA is much squishier, but combat roll is such a nice survival ability. I'd take dodge and roll over more health/shields any day.
But all in all I play KSA as a semi weapon platform. Warp + warp 4 + hard hitting gun is destructive, but not in the same way as HA.
