Nope, I fell like i'm part of a cleanup crew that came to rid the planet of an awful alien infestation. Sorta like using the flamethrower in Alien vs Predator 2....burn those bugs

How does it work? Do you spec against shields on Flamer and use a weapon against armor? Is there a specific weapon i can use to make it work? Help!

You just press the button and that's all. You don't even need to hold it or aim.

Flamer against armor and spec it for duration, also go with lightweight weaponry. You will rape everything....

No, always spec for armor damage, then equip a shield stripping weapon .. weight has little relevance because of the quick flamer CD

Most common weapon is the Acolyte, but this kit is also really effective with "gasp" a Reegar. There BSN, I said it cuz it's true

PS. Ignore the haters, the GT flamer build is very Platinum worthy. And his flamer is far more powerful that any Vorcha flamer


Edit: Do NOT spec for duration, go for range in 4 (you will kill many extra enemies this way) the CD is fast, so take damage over duration always

With Reegar you don`t even need flamer.

With Reegar you don`t even need flamer.

Reegar by itself is terrible against armor, but instantly obliterates shields/barriers, then the flamer melts armor.

Even with incendiary ammo (on a non warped target) the properly specd flamer will kill an armored unit faster

Best build I've found but it's cheap. If you're PC the ROF bonus on HM might be better.

Yeah, only 2x stronger than any other weapon in game. Terrible, indeed.

This is incorrect .. it suffers a damage penalty vs armor which is not insignificant. I'm sure someone on BSN would know off the top of their head.

Trust me, a Reegar with no ammo mod is terrible vs armor

May I add, it's also the only way to get the true potential of the character to shine.

GT - Flamer - Talon is the way I always play him.  I don't think there is a better setup to take advantage of his maximum potential.  Talon does great damage and also strips shields as fast as anything other than the Reegar and Acolyte.  It might actually strip mook shields as fast as the Acolyte, because you can headshot pretty easily with Hunter Mode.
