What I do is go to dogde forward, and cancel it by pressing backwards real quick. It works on most characters I believe.OperatingWookie wrote...

That's a decent reason to spec a hybrid build on console if nothing else.OperatingWookie wrote...

With good timing you can heavy melee without going through with the animation, that's how I do it.

You don't. You hide the reload in Flamer. And use a powerful, one or two hit weapon

Well, it looks like it's seriously a lot less powerful on consoles. Might even be close to being somewhat balanced (maybe).

Javelin + GPS works extremely well on Gold, I did my first platinum solo with it as well (didn't do so hot though, it lasted 94 minutes) vs. Geth on Giant. Flamer GT is by far more efficient (I have a sync-killed, but mission successful platinum solo that was only 27 minutes long with it.)Cirvante wrote...

I did one with Javelin + GPS too, in order to redeem myself after my first one with the flamer GT. I played against Cerberus though and got chased around the map by lolgoons the whole time. GPS can only stagger so many of them at the same time.ISHYGDDT wrote...

As long as I'm not hosting I prefer the Piranha/Raider/Claymore to the GPS though. With sufficient lag the Raider GT is a beast.

Nah Deerber, it's still stupidly over-powered even on my (lolnoframesforyou) PS3.
OT - I can't stand Flamer so I spec him as a weapons platform by default, it's a pretty damn good setup though.

I don't usually use flamer on my geth trooper, I'll use flamer on him every once in a while, but my preferred build for him is with a typhoon and venom shotgun, I prefer that build so much more. Weapon platform without flamer, using stronghold package, shield power cells 3 and shield recharge evolution on fortification.
I can respect that, nice build BTW.
