Urm, that'd be Tetris or Super Mario Land on the GameBoy, and Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis on the PC.![]()
Pretty much the same for me. I started on Game Boy with Tetris, Super Mario Land and Alleyway. Later I played Super Nintendo with Donkey Kong Country being my first game on the console. Indiana Jones came a bit later, but it was the first PC game I played that wasn't edutainment. This game taught me English.

I played pong. The machine was the size of a suitcase and the game wasn't really much but it was new and we knew where it was going. The hardest part of the whole thing was convincing Dad when he got home that he didn't have to watch Hogan's Heros.

It was probably some Atari 2600 game for me, but I have no idea which was the first one. It might have been that "Combat" game where you just have the two tanks and some obstacles and you drive around shooting at each other.

Hmm, Lego Chess, the reason I'm the only one in my family that even knows how to play chess.

I'm... not sure. Either Combat, Boxing, or Pong on Atari.
Note: For those too young to know... this is Combat.
One of my favorites around that time though, was Berserk

How do you people remember that?
I started playing games quite late and I have no idea which was the first... unles MS Paint counts... I think it must have been one of those learning games, I played several of those abominations before knowing better. The first real game I remember playing is Caesar.

I'm the master of playing with obsolete consoles. I have also played on Atari, (S)NES, Sega Mega Drive in second half of 90s (with my cousins mostly).

If we do not take Coin-Op in to account, I would say Ultima V.

I remember a few of them loitering in one of our maths classes in about 1980ish, though they were the slightly newer ones with the proper keyboard. We also had a Research Machines 380Z that used to wander around the science labs on a trolley. I tried playing with it once but couldn't quite figure it out, probably as it didn't have its boot discs handy as it transpired.AutumnWitch wrote...

Mario Kart on the N64. I could've started way earlier, but my parent was oddly anti-video game for like the first 7 years or so of my life.

First game was pong when it came out in 1972. I only remember it because I beat my father at it.
