Sounds painful

Handheld thinks that it has happened so many times that Handheld is now used to glueing himself back together.

The point of whether something is illegal or not, while certainly relevant to the implementation (or not) in any game that wants to see release in any country, (as long as it's related to sex of course, murder and slavery and so on all A-OK) could be argued to be less pertinent to the discussion of social acceptability.

As an example one could hold up the differing ages of consent, (depending on country, ranges from 9 to 20, to countries where it's illegal until you're married, to countries where there is no age of consent) differences in laws relating to homosexuality (ranging from 'can get married' to 'will be put to death') differences in laws regarding bestiality, (apparently it's legal in the state in which I live, WTF) and incest which ranges from legal to 20 years in jail.*

*All info pilfered from wikipedia because I'll be damned if I'm going to research any of these any further.

Yeah thats the oly drawback, so many differeng laws, but one could always take the worse(oldest age) case scenario into account (assuming America at 18 yes?) and still be able to implement it and still not break any age related sexual content laws...

'Worst case scenario' is actually age 20.

And extrapolating that 'worst case scenario' to all the other situations I mentioned: No homosexuality, no incest, no zoophilia. (I have a hunch that most people would be OK with two out of those three, but interestingly enough not the third.)

Btw, someone should mention, that any character in japanese media looks younger to us, than he's stated to be, while acting sometimes considerably more mature than the age would imply. It's kind of critical to judge japanese games to be made for a so called "pedophilic" audience, as most of that games are not. To our "western" eyes, most asian woman look way younger, than they actually are.



But whatever, it's up to the devs, what kind of LIs.

I think he's referring to your comment about nature dictating when a woman can bear children, and relating it to age of consent. (As it happens, the earliest documented age is something along the lines of 7.)

How has this become so overblown?!? Honestly sex and teenagers does not need to be synonymous with omg paedophiles, the amount of people here looking to grab their pitchforks and torches is actually crazy. And people here protesting that Bioware would never so such a thing, well obviously they wouldn't put a gang of intergalactic school girls you had to sex off or die side-mission. But they've already alluded to this obvious fantasy in ME. Liara is what 100, but still just past being a child in her culture, its already happened, so what? legally that's ok cause she's 100 but morally it's not? or is it not even an issue because she's not a child?
