For some of us, her backstory and her occassional moments of humanity doesn't excuse her monstrous behavior.

And the backstory and occasional moments of humanity excuses the monstrous behavior of the mages?

Hey now! We all know mages are incapable of monstrous behavior.  :P

As are organized military orders with drug addictions and religious zealotry. :D

Hey there's nothing wrong with a little bit of drugs and dancing naked under the sun God. lol!

True. Maybe mages and templars should form a club.

lol! They actually should. It would relieve the tension. Pass a bit of drugs, dancing naked. Orsino seemed to be down for a naked moonlight dance. Maybe if Meredith could have joined things in Kirkwall wouldn't have turned out so bad.  But seriously, I wouldn't mind forming a Mage-Templar alliance with my Inquisitor at the helm. They would make a pretty bad**** force if they fight together.

Lambert is a a*s.

Lambert could be dead (via Cole). I'm sure I'll have to deal with his templars and Seekers either way - as antagonists, most likely.

Gaider didn't comment on the issue when it got brought up via Twitter but he did say "Lambert is an interesting fellow you will certainly hear more of."

So i tend to view him as alive until confirmed dead, He was literally the best the Templars and Seekers have and even unarmored i bet he could take that pansy Cole.

In fact all he really needs to do is recite the Litany again and watch Cole burn out of existance once more.

Cole picked that moment because the veteran warrior was unarmored, preparing for sleep and couldn't be able to defend himself properly.

The problem is; He chose a veteran templar who is capable of engaging mage and demon alike.

That still raises the question as to why he'd be missing, though. Maybe Cole possessed him or something? He was a spirit of some kind, right?

Demon to be precise.

And as for him being missing?

That's just speculation and uncited speculation at that.

I got that bit off the wiki as well, I just couldn't find anything on him being missing that was actually sourced.

Given that if he was indeed missing by 9:40 dragon then he has only been gone a few months i wouldn't be overly surprised if he turned up again.

Its not like he left in 9:30 and popped up a decade later; Assuming he is missing then there are many theories and speculations i could offer but no definative proof.

World of Thedas says in it's second to last entry on the Timeline that "Lord Seeker Lambert goes missing and is presumed dead."

So I shouldn't slit my wrists and dance naked under the moonlight just to fit in?

Ah the Broad Strokes guide to the Universe?

I never read, nor purchased them.

That said you can presume all you want, I will repeat in my belief the chances of Cole's success against Lambert even in that situation is near nil.

And I thought TIM wasn't going to be turned into a caricature

Sweet Andraste i did just realize upon whom's forum we are discussing this upon.

Well i did give Bioware a final chance and this is it.

The Citadel DLC won them one more game from me with out reservation, If DA:I does use such a worthless concept to remove one of their more interesting characters then my support of Bioware will go to the level it was Pre Kotor.

I only buy when its confirmed to be decent in narrative, controls and scope.

No more faith deals.

:pinched: It really would be a waste for Lambert to used in that regard.

I admit, it'd be interesting to see Lambert be returned, piloted by Cole.

It would be horrible to have to end such a driven and worthy man merely because Gaider decided it was worth a laugh to ruin the character.
