I downloaded ME1 on a new computer and console'd in all of the achievements so that I could play on insanity, but I just hit level 50 and realized that I'm not gaining anymore xp. I have the Medal of Honor achievement so I think that it's just because I did the consoles commands on the now level capped character. I'd like to import this character into ME2 as a level 60, but I haven't been able to find a way to overcome the level cap. Any ideas?

Just read a post that said I could import the file to ME2, save the game, edit the ME1 data in the ME2 save with gibbed save editor, tick a ME2 flag saying that Shepard survived to fight another day, and import that file into a new ME2 game. Will that be the same as importing directly from ME1? Just with the ME2 completion bonuses added?
