I really hope the cameo's will be about essential npc and companions from the previous games, not origin story (and other minor) characters that we spent five seconds with.

I hope that Ser Cauthrien will make an appearance, Marjolaine should make an cameo as well (if she was allowed to live of course).

I agree on one thing. Sometimes it's the little things that can draw the line between a great or awful game.

I've got two.
1. A crow stole Vigilance from some people's wardens and has changed hands many times since gaining power all the way, with rumors that it may be alive.
2. This is an installment of the dragon age series, not the assassins creed series and should be recognizable as such.

As much as I like questions answered from DA:Q, I don't want DAI to be overwhelmed with Easter eggs (one of my fears),that I drown in them, besides if I want answers to my questions that wont appear I will fanfition them.

Gaxkang might have a role to play in Inquisition, because even if you did kill him (actually banish him back to the Fade), since the Veil is torn, he should be able to cross back over.

lol, like Bioware would actually take the time to do any of that. Have you not learned?

One of the ways that we could get the weaponry from Origins back is that chest at Soldier's Peak. you could visit it and have one of the local Wardens tell you something like: "The Hero of Ferelden left this for you."

Another minor detail that I have remember is that woman in Dust Town promising (after you patch things up between her and her family) that when her son grows up, that she will send him to you to be a knight in your service.

And I think I may have figured out who the Grey Warden companion will be, I recently started replaying Origins and noticed that apart from Duncan and Alistair, you never actually see any of the other Fereldan Grey Wardens, not even in the battle cut-scenes, but later on, when you ask Alistair about the other Grey Warden, he mentions only one by name, Gregor, whose description to me seems to match what the Grey Warden in the Inquisition concept art looks like.

Another idea that comes to mind is if Sten is alive and is the Arishok, and he visits Ferelden, that a family member of the people he murdered in Lothering tries to avenge them.

This is not Dragon Age: Origins - The Extended Epilogue.

/thread

I'm fine with the biggest choices making ripples - hearing about their consequences is fine and good.

I'm not interested in the slightest to see every single remote NPC from Origins populating the entire world.

And I'm tired as hell with Ferelden. There is a whole world out there, with about 100 % of it more interesting than Ferelden, so I'd like to have less to do with this backwater mudhole and see the rest of Thedas instead. Don't drag me back there with constant pointless cameo, thanks.
I'm annoyed enough that a significant part of DA:I is going to happen there (I would have gladly prefered to have it happens entirely in Orlais, or any, ANY other neighbouring country but Ferelden), and I dread the idea that the Inquisitor is yet again another f-ing Fereldan.

Talking about little details.. item descriptions! Bring them back David. Pretty please.

Dear Andraste, yes! I can't say how much I missed this in DA2. This adds so much to the loot system.

Well I would like to see pets (like the Malibari) make a comeback as actual companions that can be leveled up, and customized with various pieces of equipment.

I miss the in depth customization that the dog had in DA:O, and I would like to see that brought back; with the addition of new types of pets; BUT without taking up one of the companion slots. I would like to have three companion slots AND a pet slot. Essentially, I would like the customization that DA:O had for our pets, but without them limiting our party selection.

Also, I would like to see the variety of helpful allies that DA:O had (actually more then DA:O had) in non-human (dwarf, elf, qunari, human) creatures. I loved how the player was able to negotiate and work with Werewolves, a Dragon Cult, Awakened Darksapwn, Sylvans, etc. in the first game. I detest the troupe of fantasies that anything that looks different (as in not human) = evil.

If the Demonic invasion is a threat to the WHOLE world then I expect the WHOLE world to want to do something about it. I also would expect the fantasy creatures to be multi-faceted enough to want to assist the player in saving the world; not one dimensional: MONSTERS BAD!

We also need to chase down every minor NPC from DA2 and learn how they're doing, in excruciating detail. Even though the Inquisitor would have no reason to know or care about any of these people.

Of the people still in Lothering when the Darkspawn arrived, she alone miraculously survived. With her new found skill in trap-making, she struck out on her own, eventually settling in the Korcari Wilds, where she established herself as the leader of a gang of Chasind bandits.

What about when we first got to Lothering and there were some "guards" robbing people on the road. There was a choice to chase them off rather than kill them. If I made that choice, those guys had better play a big part in inquisition.

For crying out loud, let some of this stay in the game it was in.

Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age Awakening:

1. Putting (a) survivor(s) (if there were any besides the Warden and Duncan) from the taking of Castle Cousland by Howe into the game, like Iona (if you didn't sleep with her), Mother Mallol and Ser Gilmore for example.

2. Putting the other origins characters who didn't end up joining the Wardens into the game, since as far as i know only the Dwarf commoner and Dalish Elf are confimed to be dead if they didn't join the Wardens.

3. Bella or Kaitlyn being the wife od Bann Teagan if you gave them enough money to make it to Denerim and start over.

4. Bevin showing up as an adventurer in a side-quest if you gave him back his grandfather's sword.

5. Have Alec and his order of knights appear in the game if the Warden-Commander had him join the army in Awakening.

6. Since the Warden-Commander's sword Vigilance (if you had Wade make it from the materials you collected) was supposedly stolen by the Antivan Crows after the end of Awakening, the Inquisitor should have a chance to acquire in a sidequest.

7. The Silver Order being present in the game if you choose to invest in silverite armor for the soldiers of Vigils's Keep.

Dragon Age II:

1. The ship Isabela could acquire being visitable.

Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age Awakening:
1. I'm pretty sure every soul in Castle Cousland is dead as it gets..
2. I'm pretty sure the City Elf, Dwarf Noble and Human Noble are dead .
3. this I doubt it would be nice but I doubt it will be important.
4. This is out there but if he did show up I would not be surpised.
5. If we go to Amanranthine then it's a good chance they'll be there.
6. I would be more surprised if Vigilance didn't find it's way into your hands.
7. if we visit Amanranthine they'll probably show up.
Dragon Age II:
1. I would have expect her in Starkhaven working with/for Sebastion

I mean yeah, cameos and appearances are cool for those who have that in their games. I would love to see the Sword of Vigilance in the game and the Starfang and the ability to obtain them in side quest and learn the history of them through our Inquisitor. As for the origins, I would like an cameo from Sir Gilmore if he's alive and Iona is dead, check all the rooms if you didn't sleep with her.

I think that the correspondence (from the Return to Ostagar DLC) between Celene and Cailan should be referenced in some way in Dragon Age: Inquisition.

Some of the things mentioned in the conversations between party members are funny, such as for example Leliana telling Morrigan that they should go shopping together and Morrigan then calling her crazy, so maybe BioWare should put into Dragon Age: Inquisition some comical scene where Leliana and Morrigan are seen shopping together in Val Royeaux?

The only things I want to see from DAO and DAII are Connor and Feynriel, especially Connor.

Other than that, I would like them to spend more time developing new storylines/characters and leave the past in the past.

This is already nullified by Witch Hunt. WH played ~6 months after Awakening and the sword is still in the belonging of the one and only worthy of it.

I want a benefit for finishing the Blackstone Irregulars, or Mage's Collective quests. In a way that nobody expects, because nobody expected they'd come back.
