If they want to delay my order, they can forget about me ordering CE.

About the delay.. Gamestop IT doesn't show any delay on his site both for the PC and the Xbox version and I didn't even had any e-mail nor call from them.

Even calling them, they don't know anything about it... (I've ordered the PC version)

guys chill out these things tend to happen.  Don't be going blaming EA for something they have no control over.  Printing issues happen.

Very disappointing if true. I won't be changing my order, I'm looking forward to the full CE package too much at this point, but it makes the difference to me from a few days uninterupted play to fitting it in around my new term of uni.

These things happen, but they are still annoying! >.<

The game itself isn't delayed, just the Collector's Edition. If something unexpected happened with the printing process, they can't release an unfinished product. They have to fix it before they send it out. It sucks, yes, but it's not like printing problems never happen.

I have just phoned Game (UK) and as far as they are aware it is still going to be released on the 29th.

They have to actually produce the copies, spread them out, work  on the distribution plan, marketing, et cetera. Takes a little while.

It does seem rather late in the day, but I don't know much about the scheduling involved with something like this. This will also mean EU folks will have to avoid the forums for fear of spoilers for an extra week. :(

Its nothing to do with the game disc itself.   There is an issue going involving printing of the artbook which EA hs no control over.

I seen printing issues before not in video games but books where it delayed the release.

No need for me as I have an unnatural ability of reading spoilers and then forget them a few days later

No announcement on EA Finland, EA UK or the "main" EA site either...another case of 'cerberus network card'- misunderstanding or did the 360 CE really get delayed for us euros?

Might not be the whole Eurozone, it may only be a problem in Poland or there may not be a problem. Might just be a miscommunication.

Nothing on EA Spain site (checked it a few minutes ago), there was a statement on EA Poland though, but that's the only site I've seen mention the delay. Seems like it's just Poland that's affected...

THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!
I know someone already quoted that, but seriously it is. I was already dubious about paying £25 more than the £29.99 I was able to snag a standard edition for, just for an art book I'm not that bothered by, a tiny version of a comic book I've already read, a bonus DVD we don't even know the contents of, a set of armour and a special tin box that might just be plastic in this country. If they expect me to pay £25 for all that, plus wait an extra week for the game? Stuff that. My Amazon version comes, I'm gonna see if I can find a Collectors armour code on eBay for less than £25 (I'm thinking more like £4 if DA:O is anything to go by) and cancel my GAME preorder. I just about convinced myself that, all together, it'd be worth it. But to have to wait an extra week because EA can't print a book correctly? I know they have a reputation for incompetance and not caring about customers, but that's just stupid. And not worth it.

Yeah, except the OP already said his country's PC version will ship on time, and they'll just post the art book out later. So why can't they do that for the 360 version too? Why delay one, but not the other?

I'd wait before an official confirmation from Bioware/EA before you cancel your Pre-order. As maybe this is just a miscommunication or it is only in Poland. But i really don't hope this is true. I really don't want to wait another week. But i think i just have to...
