Also, since you mentioned Orlais was supposed to be like France, what was Antiva supposed to be? I'd guess Russia, based on Zevran's "accent" but I'm not at all confident in that.

Zevran had a vaguely Spanish accent and some Antivan characters actually say words in Spanish, but the politics and culture of Antiva seem to be based on that of a medieval Italian city-state like Venice. So Antiva is basically a mash-up of Spain and Venice.

My avatar--Alix Wilton Regan(AWR)

she did a fantastic job at voicing Samantha in ME3
she voiced LT. Harley, Lilley and others in DA2
voiced Ser Chauthrien in DAO
voiced Mhairi in DAA

for male
Clint Eastwood--I know this will never happen but I like his voice

While a good voice, it would not work at all for qunari, unless she can change her tone or pitch like Baily has done a few times(see Thana Vesh in TOR). A qunari needs a voice like Natasha Little or similar. Now if races will have their own vas, then Alix would be perfect for human.

Gideon Emery. Fenris. Lor'themar Theron (WoW) He can voice pretty much anything!
Jennifer Hale. Though maybe not in a protagonist role.
Robin Sachs RIP. He deserves a mention :( I would have loved to hear that voice in DA:I...
Brandon Keener. Garrus.
Isabela's new voice actress.
I'd like to see Rick Wasserman be a Qunari again (Arishok). He was in a bunch of other things as well!

That's just off the top of my head...

I really don't want Gideon Emery back. No offesne to the guy, but I find his voice rather annoying; it's so very nasal.

Also I cringed every time I heard half of skyrim's guards talking like fenris xD

I jokingly suggested it in another thread, and lord knows it will never happen, but I would love the male human warden to be voiced by Benedict Cumberbatch.

THAT would be awesome. Sadly would never happen but that would be beyond way too awesome.

I actually don't like him voicing Fenris. He's done a lot of other roles that made my eyebrow arch. Didn't even notice it was him at all. He did that dwarf... Frandlin Ivo? The one that betrays Aeducan in the Deep Roads. And he was also the voice of the Seneschal from Dragon's Dogma. My husband refused to believe me. Guy definitely gets around :P

Hold on but Laura Bailey has an american accent...

I don't think I've ever seen a single human with an american accent in Dragon Age, so it's unlikely. Unless, of course, there is more than one voice actor per gender.

Brian Blessed needs to be in there, especially if he can voice a character that regularly calls out for "fresh horses!" /wishful thinking

Well, agree to disagree, but he's got the kind of commanding voice I imagine my warden speaking in.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but in DA2 people from kirkwall had the american accent and ferelden people had a english accent.

..or was it the other way around?

Adrian Hough (Haytham Kenway in AC3.) He had some of the best voice work for a villain I've seen in a while.

Oooh, yes him. I could listen to Haytham read the phone book.

@lady, no, people FROM kirkwall had english accents still.

The Viscount, Meredith, Seamus, merchants etc.

Some elves had american accents, all dwarves I think, and Qunari too, but I don't think there have been any american humans yet. Willing to be proved wrong :)

I'm still sad they didn't get Edward James Olmos for some role in ME3, so I want him in DA:I.

Also Manu Bennet - Crixus ftw!

Everything is better with Neil Patrick Harris - it is known.

I responded to this question on Twitter already...but my answer was and remains Todd Haberkorn. He's my favorite voice actor and he has a history with working on Dragon Age, having provided some additional voices in Dawn of the Seeker.
Todd Haberkorn. Evil's top choice for Dragon Age.

I think Laura Bailey would be an awesome choice.

I would be so extremely happy if Susan Eisenberg plays a character in the game though. Although, that's probably just because Wonder Woman is my spirit animal.

David. Freakin'. Hayter.

This. So much.
Also, Wendee Lee and Eric Vale.

I'm probably the only person here who dislikes Laura Bailey's voice.

And for long shot for who I would really like to be a VA in the games - Bruce Campbell.
