Actually my guild  has 280 members strong about 45% women and 55% men. The guild leader is a guy who tolerates NO harrassment and any male who joins the guild and harassess the female members gets banned instantly.

Yes, quite.

I still dig these movie poster-like game covers that KotOR, KotOR II, and ME1 had.

I realize it doesn't work for every game, since those three were very intentionally evocative of movies (KotOR is almost a straight homage to Episode IV, ME1 was drawing upon a long history of space operas), but they have some much detail and stuff going on and they're just great.

Oddly enough I do not recall stoning women for dressing indecently back in the bronze age of 1993. Perhaps this is only due to the lack of ipads to record such misogynistic behavior on.

Unless you are having an intelligent conversation with the younger kids using their headsets when playing CoD or Halo, nobody cares if you're a woman or not online, they didn't back when online multiplayer was a new thing on PCs either, when they do care they are probably trolling you for reactions like the above.
