They're legitimately difficult for the most part, so I can't complain about the collectors too much. But, those praetorian lasers are seriously glitched and very annoying.

 I haven't played much against the collectors but I think they are not that hard. I agree, however, that the scions and praetorians can be dirty cheaters. I haven't been killed by praetorian laser through a wall but if you take cover while he [or it rather] shoots, it doesn't do damage. I do usually host so maybe that's why I haven't encoutered these bugs.

Flamerless geth trooper w/Harrier doesn`t give a damn about faction he is facing - Harrier is equally effective against all factions... OK, you might also want to bring Acolyte with you if you host (for Phantoms). 
Adept w/Acolyte, depending on his powers and BEs for killing, is sugnificantly less effective against collectors because of seeker swarms and Praetorian bubble. 
So If you want to JDGAF about faction you`re facing - play as weapons platform with biggest possible gun.

They introduced "holes" in that map where enemy AoE projectiles can go through with one of the last updates. I think one of the devs confirmed it and said they let it slip but there was nothing they could do now.

Two things.

1) You all talk about seekers as if they weren't easily avoided. Why?

2) Even if you focus on active powers, there's just no excuse not to bring a good gun with you.

1) Because real men charge headlong into spawns to kill the lot AND you will get seeker-swarmed that way. Only cowards run away and hide.

I know Banshee warps can go trough and I know Praetorian missiles can go trough in some maps like here:

Y U HATE POWER SPAMMERS?
Seriously, it`s common kowledge that weapons>>>powers in ME3 MP, and the best powers are the ones that make weapons even better (tac cloak, marksman, AR, any primer for warp ammo..). Weapons-weapons-weapons. Why is GI so OP? Because weapon DPS. Why Hunterss is not that great, even considering her great power damage? Because she can only boost her weapon damage output by Warp, her tactical cloak doesn`t work this way.

And collectors emphasize this weapon focus even more.

Lol I only play squishies so I get insta-downed when I'm not vigilant. After learning their techniques for targeting they became one of the easiest bosses 1v1 since with a quick class they'll always be shooting where you were. (Possessed not withstanding. There's a special place in a Cerberus laboratory where they deserve to be kept)

Logical solution is as follows.
i) Never play UUG. Always fix enemy. Leave collector matches immediately
ii) Redesign your loadout to handle all factions

 They are not useless - but they are suboptimal. Underpowered.

 Great idea for 0 factions, good for 3, not very good but can still work for 1. OTOH, Typhoon destroyer is a great idea for all 4. Destroyer is also less fun and more repetitive than, say, smashdept.

I can handle all factions, thank you. I just prefer high risk - high reward system to high risk - mediocre reward/low risk - high reward one we currently have. It`s more fun.
