For some reason I didn't think about this until now. I was always too busy concentrating on why Synthesis is wrong for other reasons, I didn't look at it from the most basic point of view. This to me just reinforces how incredible stupid and unbelievable the Synthesis ending is. There's is no way people would just automatically forgive and get along with beings who had just recently destroyed their homes and killed their families. I don't care if the effects of Synthesis is suppose to make them understand each other. I understand why Muslim Extremists suicide bomb the hell outta each other, doesn't mean I'm happy or agree with what they're doing.

It's such complete nonsense. How can anyone buy this scenario?

(shrugs)

You'll have to ask the Synthesis crowd about that. Expect something about a shift in perception or an ascension of their mentalities to be above that line of thought, or some such nonsense.

Hubris, ambition, and conflicts in ideology? Bah. Gone, apparently.

Do they automatically become a member of this "clique" if they do so? Speculations

The Reapers are our friends.

...and that's the the bottom line, because Seival Steve Austin said so.

Speaking of, I have a "theory" that David and Seival are the same entitiy and/or working closely together to ascend BSN to the pinnacle of it's existence.

We have become one with the reapers. They are now us, and we are them. That's how synthesis works. If you could only see it the way I do.... so.... perfect.

For the same reason the quarians forgive the geth for years of slaughter (after you broker peace on Rannoch).

Games move time forward unrealistically fast and idealize certain things. Still, the precedent was set.

The ending never shows forgiveness. Being forgiven and accepting that one is no longer an enemy are two completely different things.

Think of it like being ground up into a cheap, organic material as the basis for concrete. Prepare these humans for ascension, into a skyscraper.

Well, presumably being connected to those Reapers gave them the perspective to not want revenge, just like it gave that soldier in the synthesis cinematic the perspective to not recover his weapon whilst locked in combat.

Further, with synthesis everyone will share the Reaper's realisation about the threat posed by the tech singularity, and will thus agree that the cycles were necessary in the absence of a better solution.

On a more serious note, it's probably this.

There should've been green options in the dialogue. It would have Shepard randomly whip out Deep Thought's point of view gun and force everyone to see things his way.

As others said brain washed obedient little drones for the Reapers to exploit.
