I'm frankly surprised that a discussion thread of the series hasn't been brought up yet, but here it is. Definitely the best abridged series on Youtube right now. If you haven't watched it yet, you definitely should get to it.
What makes the series so compelling is that it's BETTER than the original series. The action, voice-acting, and, of course, the humor of the abridged series beat the original series in terms of humor. I've had more fun with the abridged series than the anime that it's based off of. I won't go into details since I don't want to give any spoilers to those that haven't seen it.

Any discussions would probably fall under the Anime & Manga thread already in existence. That may be one reason why no one gave it a seperate thread. It is better than the regular series though. I haven't gone through it all yet.Cap. Obvious wrote...

I think it's hilarious. It makes DBZ filler watchable.

Yes, I'm well aware of the Abridged series of Yu-Gi-Oh and I do think it's very funny, but it just doesn't surpass the hilarity of the Dragonball Z Abridged series. Don't get me wrong, Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged is great, but I still like Dragonball Z Abridged more.

Trunks: At least I did something instead of just standing there staring at them.
Krillin: We do do that a lot.
*Smoke clears revealing androids unscathed*
Trunks: What!? They're still alive!? But that was my strongest blast!
Vegeta: So, you just assumed they were destroyed, then.
Krillin: We do that a lot too.

As much as I loved the original Vegeta, the Abridged version of him is basically everything cool about him distilled into raw awesomesauce.
