And if he must return please give my Inquisitor the option to murderknife him. I have grown quite tired of hearing "enchantment!"
Please don't shove Sandal down my throat again...

If you even get close to him with a murder knife, he'll enchant you.
He'll enchant you in the mouth.

I don't think anyone has to worry about Sandal forcing himself down anyone's throat.
Pretty sure there are laws against that.

I'd trade a Leliana for a Sandal any day.

Sandal is an integral part of Dragon Age mythology. Disliking him is akin to disliking Thedas. That is to say: it doesn't make sense if you like Dragon Age.

I like to think that Sandal is actually a marvelous orator on the same level as someone like Christopher Hitchens, but he only speaks in a manner that he deems "appropriate" to the plebeians of Thedas.

OP may have given the writers a "last minute" addition to the story.
Idea: Those who try to "murderknife" Sandal are turned into an enchantment rune - having locked horns with a patient ancient evil that quietly hides and observes from within Sandal's body.
And then "Game over" with Sandal's word lingering in the air "enchaaanntement....";)

It would be sacrilege for Sandal to not appear in DA:I. However, he should only be allowed his one mandatory "Enchantment!" because otherwise my brain will start to hurt. I definitely don't want him living in my home this time. No offense to Hodor, but his "Hodoring" is the reason they make him sleep in the stables. It does tend to get a tad annoying. On that line of thought, I would be more accepting of multiple Sandal appearances in DA:I if we could warg into him and make him shut up, ethics be damned.

Thank you. Finally someone else that can't stand him. That "enchantment!" Got real old the second time he said it in DA:O.

I hope he IS in DA:I. I can't have a DA game without him.

Leave him alone he is a fine addition, not everything is dark and broody and dangerous and depressing. And nor should they be.
