Here's what I think: the OP's Inquisitor should be extremely worried about what Sandal might do to him if he ever tries to murderknife Sandal. We all know what happened at Fort Drakon.

Sandal at the Fort Drakon was a mildy amusing way of providing you a final store before fighting the archdemon. Logically there wouldn't be a merchant in a fort overrun by darkspawn but it was so ludicrous that players would just roll with it.

Too bad they decided to drive the joke into the ground.
