EDIT: And please, god, don't put it up to a vote. If Space Barbie wins again and becomes Medieval Barbie I'm not not sure we're going to survive the privligsplosion.
This, please. I was going to post some comment but I forgot what it was as soon as this reminded me about the femshep ****. No votes, no feisbuk democracy to replace character design.
I was actually criticizing the people who lost their **** over the FemShape vote because they apparenty couldn't fathom FemShep being blonde, to the point that we had to have a second vote on her hair color.
Now, agree that the whole voting thing was nonsense to begin with, but the whole outcry over "Space Barbie" was the most hilariously hypocritical thing the BSN seen.
The thing bothered me since they announced it so I didn't even follow the whole process tbh, I had lost almost all interest for the game by then anyway.
I agree that Lady Hawke looked great (without the smear), it's the only time I've used a preset face.

How can brown-haired people be over represented when dark-haired people are the majority of most European populations?
Brown hair is the second most common hair color in the world after black. And it is the most common hair color in Europe.

How are people with brown hair over-represented?
Over represented means they are portrayed in greater percentages than the slice of the population they actually make up. While an argument can be made that characters of European descent (or fantasy characters based on them) are over represented in gaming, dark-haired characters certainly aren't. Black and brown are the two most common hair colors in the world.
Red is the rairest hair color by the way, with only about 1% of the entire planet's population being natural redheads. Even in Europe only about 5% of the population are gingers.
