ME 1 gave us The Reapers, the destroyers of the Galaxy.
ME2 is introducing The Collectors. Now, I haven't yet played the game, obviously, so I can't speculate as to their motives, but just based on their names could they be the perservers of the Galaxy (for organic life, anyways).
Will ME3 introduce The Sowers, a race that comes in after The Reapers and replant the seeds of inteligent life? Some sort of Hindu-like trinity (Brahma, Vishu, Shiva) of advanced beings?
