Someone, turn the lights off maybe.
P.S. Asari is not even close to competition. There is nothing to discuss.

Stasis > Pull... But Stasis isn't really used that often on the Assguard bc charge/nades is objectively better in 95% of situations.
Drell wins. Flawless Victory. Fatality.

Drell is better, cos of speed and Cluster detonations (and his melee is actually useful and come into play sometimes)
Passives are better too... I'd say the Asari dodge is better... But not much better.

On-host (or with a really good host) the DV is just a bit better though - once you've got the hang of controlling the scatter with Cluster Grenades, not that you really have to at point blank, just having BC'd kind of range.

I love play with asari vanguard (very good character) but until now, I didn't play with drell (yeah I know what a shame, but too many characters to play with!).
Regarding the comments, I will appreciate drell also!
how to build drell? My asari is 0 stasis, full nades, power damage, charge shield.

AV has versatility in builds - I mean you *can* Stasis snipe, if you really want to ... and she's arguably better against Phantoms (Acolyte notwithstanding) and has slightly better survivability off-host.

If you Stasis snipe - you're not a Vanguard. Use an Adept for that if you must. (at least she's always at range)

Drell build. You can skip Pull if you want or go Radius on Clusters if you feel they are not that accurate for you.

Asari build. Of course you would be MUCH better with Talon or Wraith or Claymore, but I like to roleplay characters who can use their own made weapons.

Your Asari build is a gimped Drell, Stasis is actually quite useful (6/6/6/6/0 is the way to go). If the Drell didn't get a speed boost from the fitness tree 6/6/6/6/0 would have been his best bet too, but since speed > Pull better ignore Pull completely.

3 points in Stasis I would agree, 6 - no way. Everything you can Stasis you can Charge and nade for much faster kills.

Heh - I stasis snipe with the AV + Saber ... just because. I also BC with her, and lob grenades - again because I can. Vanguard, yup, imdoinitwrong

I think it's the only kit I ever consider using some of my 700+ Targeting VI consumables with - which I suspect is why I snipe with it.
Oh - I was actually in a PuG with you last night... got dropped into a game in progress on wave 2, Cerberus Glacier Gold IIRC (I think I was using a vanilla HA with an Eagle that game - I think you were Destroyer Typhoon). Weird not topping the scoreboard in a PuG, thanks for that!

Anyone can play the Asari, but the Drell is a noob graveyard.
+1 to the AV

Gambling Stasis bubble or GTFO. Besides, fitness is for noobs.
You can Charge everything, but sometimes Stasis is a lot more effective way to annihilate stuff fast.

Yeah, but I can play the asari well, I struggle with the drellgod.
Just add Venom... Stuff can't shoot you if it's staggered, and it will cease trying after you detonate the fire explosion your Venom primed.

Neither of those things matter to me so I pick Drell (big surprise).

I don't know why nobody mentions the Drell Vanguard is THE best detonator in the game. Pair him with power based teammates and his presence is unquestionably better. That being said The Asari can be more effective against large groups of mooks and is more user friendly.

Novaguard is a better detonator IMO....

I really disagree. Stasis is useless on lolgoons, useless on Pyros, Bombers, all bosses and some sub-bosses. Investing 6 points in it on a Vanguard - no, just no. Fitness is always useful and always recharge after every BC. I rather Charge 2-3 times in row and then spam nades, than Stasis.

Slayer is the best detonator in the game IMO. Novaguard still is the best BE detonator in the game IMO.
And DV doesn't need anyone to prime anything for him. He is better than AV....through cluster grenades is much harder to use than lift.
