ive always felt that most coversations in previous DA games were cut short. there just wasnt enough spoken about that said topic, as if they were rushed or forgot to spill the beans.

i would love it so that you could have 10 min conversations, without having to say "lets talk about something else"

a bit of a hassel on biowares part to script and fully voice hours of audio content. i know not everyone would like this, particually for the average gamer but it would be nice to have that bit extra available for the dedicated fans that have put their hearts into the franchise.

There's a danger to that.

ME3 opened up with a cutscene that's a good ten minutes long between Anderson and Shepard (plus a few others they meet along the way)

You get exactly two dialogue options the whole conversation. Everything else is autodialogue.

I would NOT want to see that repeated.

The first thing that popped in my head was MGS 4.
I like the idea of having longer conversations with companions. Talk a little about everything Cake, cheese, shoes, and etc.

I would hope we could gat something like Leliana's Stories Dialogue where you can choose what to hear, when you want to hear it and for how long you keep on talking.

I would rather they didn't go that far. My friend used to joke he feared every step in MGS3 would lead him unwittingly into another long lecture on cold war politics.

I think the games have huge amounts of dialogue as it stands. In fact I recall Origins once holding the record for spoken lines in a game. Until the Old Republic MMO that is.

I've always liked their conversation pacing and length. I don't see a need to have it become too bloated and grind the game to a halt. Which I feel Metal Gear games, especially the last few, have been guilty of at times.

I hope it doesn't come to that either. Dialogue was fine in DA:O in my eyes.   If they went the way of MGS 4 that to me would kill the replay value.
