Hey there.
So, I'm a huge Dragon Age Fan and have played the series previously on the Xbox 360. However, with Inquisition coming out in the next year, I've decided to jump to the PC and replay the series.
However, I'm at a bit of a quandary on how to purchase the series. I know the first game is on Steam, but the second game is only on Origins.
If I buy the game on Steam, will I still be perfectly able to transfer my save file to DAII on EA's Origin?

Well I have mass effect 1 and 2 on steam and mass effect 3 on origins. I am able to transfer my save files without problem.
Im not 100% sure but I would assume that its same with Dragon Age games.

Yes you can transfer your DAO Steam save to DAII on EA's Origin

Why are you buying the whole series again on PC out of curiousity? They're making a whole new import system to go between platforms in case you didn't know. :3
Anyways yes, I have DAO on Steam and DA2 on Origins. You should be able to import smoothly without any problems.

Thanks for the info everyone.
And, just convenience really. It bugs the crap out of me to have 2 games on one system and one on another. I also enjoy having mods and console here as well as better graphics stuff. Also, if, let's say, something doesn't transfer properly, I can simply edit the plot flags and VOILA! It is fixed.
