Oh I agree, the banners are seriously as pathetic as anything can get. The fact that a forum puts that much importance on annoying a single user is just sad.

>Implying that these banners were made with the intent to annoy someone

I don't care about the reaction of the person the banner refers to. I got it because it was funny.

Frankly, I think banners like that designed to make fun of another person should be banned, or at least warned.

It wasn't designed to make fun of anyone. Nice try though

ME2 is better but no, ME3 is a great adventure, both campaign and cooperative and its combat system is simply perfect.

An inferior Gears clone with magic is "perfect"? Seems legit.

I've heard Dark Souls is incredibly hard. I need to try it. I love games that are challenging and difficult.

Both it and Demon Souls are hard, but not in some revolutionary way. Hard in an oldschool way. They have less save/checkpoints and force you to make perfect runs through a level in one session.

ME2 Insanity is tolerable until the Collector Ship. I don't have the patience past that point and never got the achievement.

Isn't this the funniest thing? It's like half the BSN is simultaneously shrieking to ignore and engage me. Is that not the point of these 'heroism' posts I see around?

You see, this is what happens when people try to use such tactics. (By that I mean posting 'heroism' or somesuch nonsense in reponse to me.) People can't stop using them, because they rely on them. They need them. But they simultaneously realize that they're not getting the desired result of making me (or anyone) invisible or wrong.

My sides.

Then what are they designed for? Elucidate me.

A glorious celebration of David's brave stand against the world and his unshaking support of Heroism and skimpy outfits meaningful characterization.

It's a title of something. And it looks cool. And again, "I got it because it was funny". But let me be clear before you take it the wrong way, to be funny is not always done with the intent to make fun of.

So to mock and make fun of him, as I said and just as Reezy tried to deny. Thank you for proving my point that the people with those banners need to grow the hell up.

Oh I'm done, I merely wanted clarification... Which confirmed what I said.

I know right? The cover system is kind of wonky in comparison too.

To be fair Deus Ex Human Revolution has that and it was terrible. And never used it in Gears. The only awfull thing about the actual combat system in the one button to rule them all(A for sprint and cover).

Considering the fact that I have no idea what is actually behind those banners ya might want to simmer down a bit.

People getting angry about people acting like people on the internet are in dire need of a chill pill.

And you call yourself a gamer!? You haven't lived until you've blind-fired a Gnasher into the face of a fast-approaching Locust

I use it all the time when an enemy is extremely close to my position. It's better than popping one's head out to fire.

In my mind ME1 was a excellent story, ME2 an excellent game. ME3 was bleh. Only thing I found worthy anything in ME3 was the combat.

I don't think I've ever really used blindfire in any game. Unless you count the special pistol ability to aim and get critical hits from behind cover in Alpha Protocol, anyway.

ME2 insanity is harder than either ME1 or ME3 because of different reasons.

It's harder than ME1 because it seems like they didn't test ME1 with a fully upgraded squad...For example, do Feros LAST instead of first and the krogan battlemaster becomes a joke thanks to your increase in biotic power .

It's harder than ME3 because it simply doesn't offer the customication options (gear and talents) that ME3 has. With at least a doubling of weapons and how the cooldown system works, it is perfectly feasible to tailor your shepard to what you want. Throw in that unlike ME2, insanity didnt simply add a layer of "screw you adepts" to enemies and of course ME2 was harder.

I think ME2's insanity was hardest because of protections. Varren have protections. VARREN! Every dang enemy had way too many protections, it was ridiculous.

Pretty much. I can deal with that though. I just think when you mix that with tricky level design/tight spaces, it's extremely frustrating (the first platform on the Collector ship, for example). Those Varren are a pain in the ass though, because they're one of the few that break your cover and charge. And nothing is more important than cover in ME2.

Strawman?  I was simply disagreeing with the OP's assertion that the ME series "died" in the 2nd chapter.

Duh, of course Varren have protection. How else could they have killed those Quarians on Gei Hinnom?
