@Bleachrude

You could easily change 'Omega' with 'Arrival'. Considering both this DLCs and ME3 mp, it seens Montreal have some good people to work gameplay. I have to play Omega again, but my impression so far is that people were more disappointed with the lack of consequences of the DLC then with it itself.

I disagree with the OP. For me, Mass Effect series died at the Catalyst scene. Even though ME3 had quite a few flaws, so did ME1 and ME2. In all three cases, however, the strong material was more than enough to make me largely ignore the imperfections (until the ending of ME3). Each game has a wealth of great writing, voice acting, combat (yes, even ME1!), graphics and exploration.

Do you agree with the above statement or not? Was ME 3 bad as a whole or just the awful matter in which it ended? IMHO opinion ME 3 felt too much like a FPS at times with all the previous RPG charm of the prior games almost completely stripped away. Certainly having a very limited dialogue wheel is one the many things that ultimately hamper the replayability factor.

ME3 died when Priority: Earth began.  The rest of ME3 was of an acceptable quality.  Notice how I say "acceptable."  The fetch quests, excessive dialogue, and linearity of the game only cheapened the experience.  Still, the game (excluding the ending) was good.

its simple me2 was a more fun game. with more epic moments and more epic music.
Me2 was a more grey game better suited for renegades and paragades..
Mass effect 3 was tailored for black and white paragons.

Mass effect 2 plot was flawless with the exception of how legion was handled(accepted too easily into the team, without enough questions from shepard) The IFF Kidnapping and the arrival dlc which makes shepard sound too sure about a reaper invasion without a room for the play to question.

Mass Effect 3 had a lot of glaring missteps but it wasn't franchise-ruining until you got to the Catalyst. With Citadel DLC you basically just hook up the Crucible, and then load up a save right before the party at Anderson's Apartment and pretend it takes place after the Reaper battle.

I enjoyed all 3 for different reasons , each had its high pts. and lows

ME1 enjoyed for its story and epic feel, the hub worlds , the vendors  and lots of npc's
ME1 Low pts. for me was minor , but I would say the lack of movement in combat all weapons felt the same per class, not much difference from one AR to another AR and so on.

ME2 enjoyed the action and conversation wheel
ME2 Lows , lack of RPG elements , squad banter and side quest are too linear , lack of customization , no vehicle or open exploration, felt small when in combat. lack of vendors , lack of npc's small Citadel .

ME3 enjoyed it all,it starts out strong but as you get closer to the end after Thesisa it gets slow or lacks something, but love MP, was against it at 1st but once the demo dropped I was hooked.:o love the Citadel DLC it was great lots of thought put into it , love the weapons work bench .... just wish you could work on and upgrade your omni tool / blade on it , or upgrade biotic amps like ME1 .

ME3 Lows , the usual ....the ending , no vehicle or open exploration , ME1 felt bigger to me because of this, lack of cut scenes, bad journal , lack of hub worlds, lacking dialog , mini games aka hacking :crying:

Mass Effect series died at very moment when you check out your Shepard's face in Mass Effect 3.

When I first played the Mass Effect 2 with my Mass Effect 1 imported Shepard, I was stunned by the face of my character. It was so awesome.
But Mass Effect 3?

Import. Profile. God please no.

It wasn't too hard, no. What it was is fun.

Not for people who like Biotics.

ME2 was perfect.

No game is perfect, and ME2 is not even close to being a good game.
