What makes the gameplay of ME3 bad?

The horde of bugs that were in the game.

People like this stuff because it plays into power fantasies.. Shepard affects the universe in ways that were previously unimagined before. I don't like it.

That is utter and complete nonsense.

On a side note, have you considered why the name of the story is Mass Effect?

If you think ME2 has better combat than ME3 something is wrong with you.

It has
-Worst skill tree
-Worst weapon system
-Better combat than ME1, but still pales in comparison to ME3

But... the ME2 story actually makes sense (Minus the first 20 or so minutes)

And the last twenty or so hours.

Because the scientific process by which mass is affected by eezo is known as the 'mass effect'? The thing that all of the technology in the entire series is based off of?

Didn't I tell you to stop with the intensifying adjectives? "Utter and complete" -- you gotta try something else every so often. If you want to say something is nonsense, you can just say it. You're not going to be heard more otherwise.

Anyways, that's not why it's called Mass Effect. That was always about lowering mass with dark energy manipulation. And I said "affect" btw. Not "effect".

Pretty much. I mean, you done goofed when there's almost zero meaningful plot progression from the beginning of Mass Effect 2 to the beginning of Mass Effect 3

The only bugs I can recall are in cut scenes, but which are you referring to? I still think ME3 is generally more fun in the gameplay department. More squad commentary and superior combat mechanics helps quite a lot.

And? Plenty of fictional stories have such processes. I can't think of any that are named after them.

Hey, here's something to think about. Fallout isn't called Fallout because of radiation. It's called Fallout because the word has a different meaning that has thematic importance. Consider that, and perhaps you'll uncover the reason why the story is called Mass Effect.

What real gameplay is there outside of combat?

It's not entirely implausible that the title could have a double meaning, is it?

Recruiting a bunch of costumed superheroes with inane daddy issues for no other reason besides "TIM said so" for a battle scenario that nobody has the slightest clue about makes sense ..... how exactly?

Funny, because I believe the events that shaped the worlds were the Nuclear bombs (and nuclear fallout afterwards) and the discovery of Mass Effect fields (which changed civilization forever).
