Does anyone on this thread deny the reality of this?

Only when you post something.

I'll one up that. Mass Effect died by even conceiving of it as a trilogy.

I'd say that it isn't dead. :P

You spent 30 seconds looking for something for Steelcan and The Clique? I'm sure they're touched by your kindness.

I use my laptop on the floor specifically for this purpose.

Seriously though, I find ME2 the strongest out of the three, but that is just me. I prefer the characters, the amount of autodialogue (which felt perfect for MY SHEPARD) and just the overall quality and effort put into the game.

ME3 has it's strong points, but it just... I don't know - wasn't connected to it at all, like I was with the first two games.

I deny having written the phrases "lol" "Rofl" and "LMAO" in this thread at all prior to this statement.

I agree with most of this sentiment, though I'd stack the overall experiance of ME2 on even terms with ME1 though for different reasons for each game.

I felt like ME1 and ME3 were strong points.

ME2 was all like "daddy issues" to me. Still, I enjoyed it.

I agree. It's been almost therapeutic playing sr4 and seeing how much fun they make of the mass effect series.

So even Rockstar has a problem with letting things go. Good to know that even game developers can't get over the pointlessness of ragging on a year and half old game.

your character runs through a ship that looks vaguely like the collector vessel-naked, and does the awkward shepard leap from the end of me2- also naked. It was hilarious.

ME2 was the example of quality characterization in my opinion, nothing more.

Its story was lackluster compared to the other two installments.

However, ME3 and its DLC of Citadel outdid ME2.

Don't get me wrong, ME2 isn't bad, it's just that it could have been better.
