I really don't care for her so much that being said her character hasn't really been fleshed out so far so maybe she is more interesting and compelling than we have seen so far. So my answer is definitely maybe.

Totally neutral on this point. Thus far, I haven't seen anything about her that particularly interests me, but I'm more interested in the male characters anyway. I also have yet to see a female companion I would rather have than her.

I think Jennifer Hepler wrote a romance for DAI before leaving , and she had a Cassandra avatar on Twitter.
It doesn't prove anything of course but who knows?
I would say she's a romance anyway because the "main" female Li is always used in promotion :
Morrigan /Isabela.

Certainly she should be an LI, she's been way too prominent 'not' to be one it seems to me. Certainly my female Inquisitor will definitely romance her if she is an LI, so hopefully she will be one.

In Cassandra's struggle to reconcile her religious duty with her personal desire for truth and justice, she will need someone to comfort her. Thus, the relationship begins. I hope, at least.

Well Aveline should have been romancible in DA2 but they botched that.

She has prior experience writing nobles (Leandra Amell and Sebastian Vael) and Chantry types (Elthina and Cullen), so it's not outside the realm of possibility.
