More hair would be very nice, I also support freckles.

But above all this I really would like to know that we will have something like the mirror in DAII again. I really do now wish to restart my character 24 times just to tweak her appearance and the possibility to change how she looks during the game made roleplaying much more fun.

Me too.  I loved the mirror.  I have also been known to build a character, see what she or he actually looks like in the game, and started over.  :)  More than once or twice.  Each game I've played seems to get a little better with the creation, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Hair styles, pig tails would be nice.  More color choices, makeup types.  I'd have a gothic mage that reminds me of Abby in NCIS and one with very little makeup one.  Freckles are great, some that are lightly across the nose and some all over.  Skin tones, of course, and I like the slider sims has for their character creation.  I've had fairly good luck with Skyrim also.  Option for a clean face or one with some dirt on it,    Some scars, ranging from a small one that looks like an accidental nick to the ones that look like you have been fighting and if your scars are that bad, the other guy must be dead.

I want some really nice looking features as well as some that are down right evil looking and a slider would help with that a lot.    Height would be nice, but unexpected and I don't really need that to enjoy the character.

Not so much in the character customization, but I'd also like a few nice looking mage robes that are just for males or females (I know won't happen).  Someone did a great Skyrim mod that is based on Arwen's dress.  And I do like the mage robes from skyrim that are a bit shorter and have boots so it looks like they might have slacks or tights on under the robes, easier to run in than long robes, I would think.

Yes, the game is most important, but for me, the character creation is also important since I'm going to be putting a part of myself into this character.

Freckles.

indeed - and really matching hair and bear-colours (same position on both sliders equals same colour)

maybe some discrete tatoes (not those big "let's paint the whole face" ones, more like say a small animal or something to add to your forehead!)

greetings LAX
ps: i want the option to have a cape when wearing armor!

Yes,  I have one tattoo from the original stuff that I use.  I don't want a tattoo on both side or covering the whole face. that's fine for an option, but I'd like a few to be more simple.  Wouldn't mind the option for an arm, leg or back tattoo as long as an option is simple as well as one complex covering the whole arm or back.

Capes, good.  Especially if some of the story will be in areas with snow.

In da2 i liked it because i didnt think my character would have the same hair for like 6 years.

Me too.  I've used Galathil in Skyrim to change my hair,   I'd think in Orlais there would be someone who can do this.

A lot of hairstyles, better lighting, the mirror of transformation, more sliders to adjust looks, better skin textures, and more tattoos. Keep realistic hair colors, eye color, and skin colors- I don't want to see anime styles or crazy hair colors in Dragon Age- save it for a more cartoony game like Saints Row - would be too jarring with Dragon Age's aesthetics and tone of the game.

Maybe an Asian looking character, I have never seen a DA or ME protagonist character who looks Asian.

My biggest issue and concern is that there are a lot of good looking feature options. It's not that I want my character to be the best looking creature ever born. It's that in Mass Effect and Dragon Age there are only a few attractive features, and the rest are weird and I don't use them very much. I've tried before just for variety and end up abandoning a save because I hate how my character looks. So a lot of my Shepards/Wardens tend to look alike, with minor changes such as hair and eye color and hairstyles.

the majority of my Hawks and Shepards were related, same with Skyrim.  For me, it was the type of face I liked, because I've seen other peoples character that looked great, but they just didn't appeal to me for mine.

The worst creation options I found were in ME1.  I had so many Fem Shepards that were just homely looking and I spent hours retrying for something I liked.  ME2 DA2 and ME3 were better for me, and hopefully the creation process will continue to get better with each game.

Scars, like really horrible scars that totally disfigure the face so I can cover them with a mask. :P

Helmet Toggle.  Why have all that hair and face options when it's always hidden under a helmet.

Only if you can toggle it so the Inquisitor doesn't remove his helmet in conversations.

I cant remember, the Inquisitior never removed his helmet in the conversations in the demo did he?

Height / Weight, since this wont happen..

Eye Shapes, god please let them remember to have more than 4.

Actual good looking pre-sets. Yes its fun to make a totally original face, but every once and awhile you want your character to actually look like they belong in the same universe as the npcs. Think about Saints Row 3 and 4, no matter how skilled you are at making your toon, they do not look as detailed or fit as well as the actually NPC's. Same can be said of the Mass Effect games as well, though in ME3 it wasn't as bad. Of course a lot of the reason behind this is because the npcs are based on real life models, so maybe have the default character and 3 to 4 pre-sets be based on real life models, even if it's only people from around the office would be nice as well, along with one blank canvas face.

Female Quanri, I want the option, even if it doesn't make sense. Female Kossith just to satisfy my curiousity.

Breast Expansion, lol j/k .... maybe.

I would also like some good presets, I usually sat with the preset and then twitch it because I'm not any good at making a whole character myself.

More hair of course. But also, an option to change male stubble without it turning into an rainforest, and better skin complexion options.

I can't say it would bother me to see a woman, or man walking about in Orlais with pink hair and an outlandish style with a bird sitting on top.    Leliana did mention the birds in our conversation about hair and shoes.   Not sure I'd expect to see someone sneaking in the woods with this, but having it available wouldn't bother me.  I've often looked for a leafy color greenish brown for my elves that live in the woods.

If possible, I would like hair to appear more detailed; less like a skullcap or wig. And I much prefer the CC of the past DA series than ME; could not ever get a final result on the latter series that was good as the default appearance.

Since modding is apparently going to be much more difficult with the Frostbite 3 engine, it's all the more important that Bioware don't skimp on the vanilla character customisation options. With that in mind, I would like to see the following:

1) Earrings and/or other piercings and decorative jewelery. I'd like to see a single decorative earpiece like Major Kira from Deep Space 9, for example. The Qunari should have horn ornaments.

2) Freckles

3) A wide selection of hairstyles, both long and short. Historically Bioware haven't provided many longer hair options, and the modders have had to pick up the slack.

Included in this category should also be a wide selection of beards for men, including goatees and other smaller beards.

4) Horns. The Qunari should have a large selection of different horn types, including big Arishok-style horns, curly ram's horns, tiefling-like horns, to the smaller nub-like horns that we've seen in the concept art for the female Qunari. It's important to me that the female Qunari aren't stuck with a selection of tiny horns just because they're female.

I'd also like to see the option of having filed-down horns, like Saarabas.

5) Scars

6) More symmetrical or regular tattoos, and ones that don't seem to have simply been randomly slapped on one cheek.

Better facial hair/beards (No more beards that make your face all odd shaped!).
More hair options.
Face paint/warpaint.
Scars.
Black hair actually being black (The darkest color still looked brown to me heh...).

Oh a few exclusive things to your custom PC would be nice too. Face presets, hair, scars, etc. I'm sure there is some people out there who have had that awkward moment when they realize they now have a twin they never knew about. Since some random npc ended up having the exact same facial features/hair/scar as you... Haha.

As in the degree to which a structural element is displaced under a load? Are you sure your penis isn't actually a cantilever beam?

Not really a protagonist but I think the lady who asked you to make her traps in DA:O looked asian. Correct me if I am wrong.
