so...I got isabela's loyalty maxed yet on meet the arishok with my party of fenris, sebastian and anders. Fenris automatically sets up a duel. Shouldnt the player have the option of not choosing Fenris' option immediately? Thanks to this bug, Isabela does not even get the chance to return eventhough I have max loyalty with her.

Isabela should turn up before Fenris suggests a duel. He only brings it up when Isabela is not coming, so it seems like you indeed have a bug.

You did complete her "Questioning beliefs" talk, yes? That's the important part, not the amount of friendship or rivalry itself.

Both are necessary. Questioning Beliefs completed AND 50%+ friendship/rivalry.

Oh? Didn't know that, sorry. As questioning beliefs requires 50 points already and usually expands your points in the direction, it's an easy to miss detail.
I guess you can easily fall back beyond 50 point during the "to catch a thief" quest, so it's good to know.
