just saying the online store won't be around forever and those who either haven't had a chance to get it yet or have lost their game data wouldn't be able to get the dlc again so I don't see how it would be unfair to request a full version of the games I mean in the opposite respect why wouldn't the developers want their customers to experience all of their art or creations?

Just saying, you're freaking paranoid.

If "the store isn't going to be around forever" is your only argument against them not giving away the DLC, then you argument is pretty weak and pretty stupid at the same time.

and you lowering yourself to insults helps anybody how? being able to have a full version of the games is better then having versions that aren't complete when like I said the store or dlc vanishes from being able to buy it over the internet

I'm hoping at some point there will be a new release of the series that includes all the DLC. That is the only thing that would get me to go out and purchase the games again, just to have a hard copy of the DLC.

Rumor has it that they are planning on remaking the trilogy for the next gen (PS4, Xbox One, and PC). If they do, I'm pretty sure that will have all the DLCs. To be honest, if this DOES happen.. I'm not sure what to do anymore. I was on the fence on getting Citadel and MAAAAAAYYYYBE From Ashes to get Javik….. but if this happens…. should I just wait for it?…. *sigh*…..

if they make something like that, the Wii U ahould see it too

Due to the very poor sales in the Wii U I don't see it happening.

Not sure if this is related, but it might depend on the demand for it. For Batman Akrham Origins, the "Cold Cold Heart" will not come to Wii U because apparently there is not that high of a demand for it. Not sure if that is a different way of saying "they have poor sales"

Poor Nintendo. I have to admit that I seemed to have moved on to PS3, but I would still go back to my Wii for my Zelda fix. I still hope for them to keep going because I did grow up with Nintendo since I was a child. BUUUUUUT, I'm getting off topic, LOL.

I'm not sure about the "not enough demand" part. How do they know there's not enough demand if they don't give Wii U fans a chance to buy the DLC to begin with? Mass Effect fans on Wii U got it even worse. No ME1 & ME2 and the only DLC they got were the couple of DLCs like From Ashes and the Extended Cut that came on the disc. The major story DLCs are nowhere to be seen.

EA and many other publishers stopped supporting WiiU, it's the unfortunte truth. Nintendo needs to rethink their approach for this generation.

Thanks for the link. I had read the article before I made my post though. I was just wondering how WB could come to that decision. For example if the DLC for Arkham Origins ("Cold, Cold Heart") was available to Wii U users but sold poorly then I could understand the DLC for their next game not being available on Wii U even if I didn't like that being the case. Maybe the install base for the Wii U is still lower than they would like.

It absolutely is. Therein lies the rub. A couple of high-profile publishers were somewhat bullish about agreeing to help support the hardware at launch but the lifetime sales to-date are still absolutely dismal for the machine. They may yet improve somewhat considerably with the release of a Kart and Smash over the next several months (which hinges upon the games' ability to spread goodwill outside the uber-"core" Nintendo base which has largely already purchased a Wii U; don't be fooled by Zelda's prestige and critical delight, it hasn't actually sold Nintendo systems by the bucketload in 15 years) but the likelihood of Wii U ever reaching the kind of success these third-parties had hoped would occur when they agreed to throw some preexisting software onto it in late 2012/early 2013 is very slim.
