I know Bioware has been building this moment up for quite a long time so I am pretty sure I speak for everyone when I say we are expecting a big return from Duncan.

I fully expect that by Dragon Age 4, in the games, the books, or the comics, it will be revealed Duncan has a brother. And he will appear.
A twin brother, who resented looking like Duncan, no beard.

Oh in that case I have another quote from David Gaider.
David Gaider. "Forst1999 is full of ****, don't believe a word he says"

Um I went back to Ostagar and looted his dead body..,
If I recall correctly Duncan's corpse didn't appear at Ostagar, only the Ogre with his sword in its chest.

EDIT: Dug up the quote, it was posted on BSN but I found it on the dragon age wiki:
"Duncan's death was confirmed by David Gaider. "Duncan is dead. If he
appears again, it would have to be in a story that takes place prior to
Origins, if anything.""

If a warrior doesn't have his sword he is as good as dead, ask Sten

Sten didn't die, he only got locked in a cage to die.

Duncan is not a warrior. He's a rogue.

Semi-confirmed rumor. I heard you beat Duncan by having rough sex with Flemeth, and then when you slay him, his spirit goes into her baby.Deflagratio wrote...
I'm expecting, and won't buy the game if I hear this isn't true, that Duncan is the Last Boss AND a Love Interest, and you defeat him through rough sex.
Female PCs, unfortunately, will die horribly at the end. But that's because BioWare wants to make every choice matter.
