 Ok so If this has been posted in the wrong place I'm sorry this is my first time posting here on the forums here so cut me some slack please 

Ok so first off I played ME1 and ME2 on Xbox 360 waay back when they first came out and all that jazz

As of late I've gotten in to PC gaming and of course i went out of my way to make sure i bought all three mass effects on the pc because why not there amazing games.

Now heres my problem Since I had already played ME1 and 2 I really wanted to just SEE ME3 so i started a new playthrough on ME3 without going back and playing 1 and 2 to build a shepard now with that said I kinda knew this was going to happen going in but i was VERY displeased with a lot of my resaults like having to choose between tali and the geth  *since i lacked paragon points/reputation* that was heart breaking for me along with many other of the big choices in the game.

So heres my question I played through ME1 and 2 just the past couple days took it all in built my shepard full paragon so on and so forth made all the right choices kept everyone alive bla bla bla BUT I noticed when i imported my ME2 shep to ME3 my paragon/reputation is SO LOW its just like one bar which took me off guard So my question with this little bonus rep am I looking at another heart breaking play through were I have make hard choices watch people die do to my starting lack of paragon/reputation or with this bonus rep will it be enough if i work my ass off to get the ending I want and settle things like saving mordan and ending the war between the geth and tali's people???

I'm not sure If i can take grinding 3 or four play throughs of making hard choices and watching everyone die lol


I know a lot of people didn't like ME3 over all but to me it was heart breaking playing that fresh shep and watching all those sad event unfold at my feet.

More than willing to bust my ass off in this nexy play through grinding rep and what not so i can get my "perfect" playthrough but is it even possible with such little starting bonus rep??

Paragon/Renegade had nothing to do with it. (Well, maybe a little.) Without an import it is impossible to make peace btw Geth and Quarians. You should consult the wiki on the requirements needed to achieve peace.

In general, you should never run into problems when speech checks are made. They are nothing like ME2. All they require, at most, is reputation and that is super easy to get: just do side quests, run around the Citadel and Normandy and talk to people after every mission and, voila, you get reputation.

Don't sweat it. You'll be fine.

Ah makes a lot more sense now I blasted through my first ME3 play through I got to the game really late as you can see and I was just dying to see it so I skipped out on a lot of side missions and didn't really interact much wit the crew which was a stupid move on my part. Thanks for your input you give me hope for this next play through i'm starting tonight
