Will Morrigan, Alistair, Fenris, Isabela, Leliana in Dragon Age III?

So far we kinda know that Morrigan will be a major NPC, not a companion. And I really don't think Leliana will be a companion again. I could be wrong though. On the other hand, your old buddy Varric's going to be a companion, and that's confirmed, how's that?

No love for Oghren, Sten, Shale, Loghain, Nathaniel, Sigrun, Velanna, Sketch, Arriane, Finn, Merrill, or Sebastian?

Morrigan and Leliana will be NPC'S which is pretty much confirmed.

Alistair if he appears he will be an NPC and/or King, Warden, Drunk

Feneris if he appears it will be as an NPC or a cameo

Isabella if she appears it will be as an NPC or a cameo, and the same goes for everyone else.

The only actual companion returning is Varric.
Some of the others, Morrigan and Leliana will be npcs.We may see Alistair , another npc.
I doubt we see any of the others at all.

I wouldn't mind a DAO companion in DAI, to exchange, "No really, this is what happened next..." stories with Varric. Zevran, maybe. The two of them together in party banter would be a hoot.

Wynne as I understand is dead, Leliana's on a mission, Ohgren as a grey warden, maybe, it sounds like something Zevran would do, Sten's an arishok now, Alistair is indesposed, Morrigan is playing The Game....

Leliana and Merrill are GREAT.
Merrill is my favorite LI. She is on the run from the templars. Friggin Cullen would probably gut her. I want to slice his nuts off, travel in time, and feed them to his future children.

heard that Allistair has disappeared . Wonder if Ferelden has a king. Expect to see some old companions but not all. The two I expect to mostly see are Varric of course and Morrigan. I also expect to see Leliana.

For the most part I'd rather have new companions than see old companions return as part of the party, regardless of how much I liked them the first time. It seems like for many of our old companions their story has been told, and I don't think there's much point putting them in the party if their development felt pretty complete already. Unless there's actually a significant plot reason to have a former party member back in the party, I think it would work better to have them as important NPCs if anything.

Even great characters get stale if they get stuck on a repeat cycle, and I'd rather remember them the way they were.

Besides that if the thread has only 7 posts and it is 2 months old it IS a necro.
