Magic exists to rule over man and never to serve him.

With great power comes great responsibility.
Magic has to rule over the people to keep them under control.
Without control the order would be impossible.
Without order the survival would be impossible.
Without survival the people are history.

Blood Magic.
Magocracy.
Perfectly controlled society.
The best hope for the bright future.

The Tevinter Empire has to reborn and bring order to this world. Order without critical differences between different people. Order, where everyone are forced to co-exist in peace and harmony.

Isn't that a perfect goal for your inquisitor? It is for mine.

clearly Seival has no understanding as to what Tevinter stood for. They had order through fear and oppression.

My favourite part of peace and harmony is the rampant execution for the purpose of exsanguination. Life, liberty and the comoditization of blood without consent!

I have understanding of Tevinter potential with right directions of controlling and being under control. This is more than enough. Magocracy is the best way to be, if the leaders are wise enough.

So you're okay with oppression? Just need clarity on that point. Though you already say so.

...Also, fear is a nice tool, if you use it correctly.

Why not qunari then? They tend to control people even better, especially mages.

Magic exists without any purpose with regard to man at all. What man does with it and the moral connotations others attach to it are their own making.

There is no oppression when everyone are forced to be happy. Oppression is when everyone are "free" and unhappy.

People need control just like they need food, water, and air.

The "forced to" part is oppression.

Not that everyone would be happy anyway. You don't know humanity very well, do you.

No, qunari methods of control are too brutal.

Using blood magic to influence people is much more humane. People will not even realize they are under full control. Everyone happy and think they forge their own destiny themselves.

An Ordered society and slavery are pretty much synonymous to me. It doesn't matter how "wise" the master is... Its never good.

Is he trolling? I'm usually open to discuss this kind of things, but this guy has some problem.

Tevinter does not force people to be happy. In fact, exsanguinating them properluy requires causing a great deal of unhappiness.

Isn't bloodmagic's mind control the purest form of rape?

What is so bad in being a slave, if you don't even realize that you are a slave and very happy with your life?

He's either trolling or completely delusional.

I think this is the same guy who said that the PC was destined to die out to consoles and that he thinks mods should be illegal.

The quality of being a slave. Of not having free will.

People will debate about its existence of course, but free will>happiness.

Now, the people that WANT to join you? By all means, let them.
