The next Mass Effect game won't be ME4 because ME1-3 is Shepard. Mass Effect will most likely = Mass Effect.Seival wrote...

I disagree that DA:I will be the last DA.
Mainly because the DA team has been scrambling to get to this title since DA:O came out. They want to begin dealing with the world in the post Mage/Templar existence. It has limited their world and encounter designs having all (or, at least, most) Mages supposed to be locked in a tower. Or, for that matter, dwarves out of Orzammar or Dalish out of their clans. I think the goal of DA:I has been a long-term goal of the DA team for quite some time - take everything out and out it in a giant blender, so a group of Mages, Qunari, elves, dwarves and humans all roaming around together doesn't seem like an insanely forced contrivance, by either the player's party or an NPC one.
Well, even considering several studios, BioWare is not a large company. They have to keep supporting SW MMO, They are working on a new IP, and new ME game. They will have to support C&C after release. They already don't have enough people for all of this, if we will keep in mind their very active recruiting... I'm sure they will not be able to sustain DA title for a long time. So, I'm afraid that DA:I will most likely be the last Dragon Age, and their next-gen "pilot" project.
They already said a 5 game plan, DA:I is not the last DA game
That doesn't mean they will be making all 5 games simultaneously.
And DA:I really looks like the end.
That doesn't make sense, just because they can't make all the game simultaneously doesn't mean it's gonna be the last DA game
And how does DA:I look the end?
It feels like an epic denouement, according to the info we know.
They might create new games in DAU in the future, but I really doubt in that. And if they will, that will not be DA anymore. Just like new ME game will not be ME4.
Unlike ME1-3 this game only seems to going to show us the effects of part of the world. We'd still don't know tevinter, Par vollen, rivian, anderfalls, etc.
So much to explore, so much that will still be Dragon Age. We also have two blights that still havn't happened yet.
Magic exists to rule over man and never to serve him.

I know. When I mention the blights I mostly meant that there's still so much going in Dragon Age, that even if we had to defult to something we still have those. Dragon Age has so much going on one event like this wouldn't be the "END ALL OF THE DRAGON AGE FRANCHISE!" and that the next dragon age won't be dragon age.Br3ad wrote...

While Dragon Age may end in five games, as long as there is money to be made, they should never drop Thedas. Of course I'll be too old to spend time playing games by then, but I'm just saying.
Who knows, we may end up playing "Griffin Age Origins"
