OfficerDonNZ.. No problem with my mod I'm nearly on the final part and I only ever use the toolset when she's asleep so there are no clashes of interest.

DannJ.. That sounds good but there's no way I'm telling her about it because she might want one and I wouldn't know where to start. I remember playing a game called Awful Green Things from Outer Space years ago and in that you had weapons to shoot/bash the green things with and you never knew what they would do until you tried them out.. The results could be disastrous.

So are the horses they've "magically" been turned into unicorns now, but they still refuse to fight the chickens !

In the game Heretic II, there was a spell that turned enemies temporarily into a chicken. However there was a small chance that your enemy would turn into a mega-chicken with outrageous stats (complete with booming foot steps), which could frag you with a single peck. It made the use of the spell in multiplayer mode a bit of a gamble.

Mass Fowl - a blatant ripoff of the Heretic II 'Morph Ovum' spell! Except that there's no chance of an enemy turning into a giant chicken with 999 hit points and an insta-kill peck. Having a 1% chance of polymorphing an enemy into an Avernus Fried Chicken would have made the spell much more interesting (and a more accurate ripoff).

So if the big boss chicken had the Mass Fowl feat could it turn the cats ( npc's that are hostile to chickens ) into chickens to fight for it or would it just be directed at the PC ?

I'm sure the PC would be the prime target, but it's an area effect spell so any hostile cats in the blast radius should be affected - except I don't think it works on non-humanoids. I suppose you could send an Epic Wizard to SOZ and try it out on some beasts.

I'll investigate this at a later date but making the cats humans that look like cats might do it.

If the chickens are actually escaped former wizard familiars, then they'd be able to cast touch-spells (ie. peck-spells) at the very least. Giving some of them the cantrip 'Touch of Fatigue' would certainly spice things up a bit (chasing chickens can be tiring work, after all).

My poor child, I don't think she's quite ready for chicken sorcerors yet !

But I do like the idea of escaped familiars in fact the big boss chicken could indeed be one.

The chickens should have an arch enemy: the hatchet-wielding soup na.zi...

In stead of stone skin they should have crispy skin ... this could go on forever Image IPB
