In DA:O, when you killed the Archdemon, there was only 1 way to kill him and that was with a generic two hand sword. That looked fine for the Warrior but for the mage and rogue it looked out of place. In DA:A it was cool when you killed The Mother because each class had a different finishing kill, the warrior stabbed her with a sword, the mage uses magic to destroy her and I don't know what the rogue did but it must have been class specific. In DA2 though, we lost that with Orsino's death and we didn't even have a finishing kill for the killer(which we should have). I hope DA:I brings this into the game because it makes each class more unique to the world.
For major boss kills, can we have class specific finishers?

I seem to remember in Da2 that a mage will kill the high dragon with blood magic sort of.

In Legacy you kill Corypheus with magic as a mage, or weapons as a warrior/rogue.

I loved the class specific finishers in DA A and Legacy, and welcome their return.

The Large Wraith in the Deep Roads is finished with one animation by warriors/rogues and one by mages.
The Arishok is finished off dependend on the class if you don't solo duel him, I beleive.
