yea would have fit my first Hawke quite well, Sister died in deeproads, mother dead. What reason did Hawke have to be there?? Not really any to be honest...

The whole Champion of Kirkwall may really have been the only reason, other than getting invited to upper class partys.

It is not how the in characters experience the events of the game. It is how the player does. And if something is likely to affect the players experience of the game, it needs to be told in game.

That's only true if there's some need for all players to experience the game similarly.

I am aware of no such need.
