You must not be a long-time internet user then. I've seen trolls that stick around for literally years, feeding off of attention. Don't ever assume that just because they've been at it for a long time that they're serious. He's one of the breeds of troll who intentionally rile everyone up with BS and dumb arguments. Every time you respond, you make his day a little bit brighter. And I give credit, he's a damn good troll. Look at how well he's fooled all of you, you don't even realize you're being played. He's like a masochist who makes people mad so they beat him up, you're just feeding him by trying to attack him.

I don't think David is that. Like, at all.

Typically, look at how easily he gets riled up at other users. 

I think it's much more likely that he's a comedian. Since he's so easy to really counter-argue with, and so predictable and cliche'd that it's hilarious.
